10 Dream Matches For Kenny Omega In WWE We'd Want To See
Ava Bailey Kenny Omega is currently one of the biggest stars in AEW, and is regarded as one of the best wrestlers on the planet. It has recently emerged that he is high on WWE’s priority list, as reported by WrestlingNews.Co.

If he is to move to WWE once his AEW contract expires and runs down, then there are plenty of wrestlers to keep him busy on the WWE roster. There are several dream matches for Omega in WWE that would certainly have a chance at stealing any show that they are on. Of course, Omega may have battled some of these names prior to WWE, but he is a much more polished performer today.
10 AJ Styles
Somehow, AJ Styles and Kenny Omega have only ever had one singles match, and it was nearly two decades ago. These are two men who have had remarkably similar trajectories within the last decade, as they both dominated NJPW as the top overseas star, and also led the Bullet Club faction.
Each has also been considered the best wrestler in the world at some point in their careers, so putting them in the ring together is a no-brainer. Their respective allegiences with the Good Brothers would no doubt come into a storyline between the pair too.
9 Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar’s best work of his WWE career always comes against smaller guys. He has had standout matches over time against the likes of Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan, and AJ Styles. Kenny Omega fits that mold perfectly.
Omega would likely bump his soul off for Lesnar, whilst also being able to dish out believable offense to chop down the monster.
8 Sheamus
Sheamus is still one of the more underrated workers in WWE history, as he very often brings so much quality and believability to matches. Seeing him and Omega go back and forth with stiff knees and hard-hitting blows would be a sight to behold.
If Omega’s recent match with Will Ospreay is anything to go by, Omega is still in a position where he is willing to put his body on the line in a major way in matches, so seeing he and Sheamus beat the spirit out of one another would be brilliant.
7 Edge
It was bizarre enough to see Kenny Omega in the ring with Christian Cage in AEW, and it would likely be the same if he were to share the ring with Edge too.
Seeing these two Canadians go at it would be brilliant. Edge’s storylines have been up and down since his return, but his in-ring work has been consistently strong, and there is little doubt that these two could mix storytelling and great wrestling wonderfully. If Omega is to come to WWE, then this match should be booked quickly, as Edge has previously hinted that he may retire soon.
6 GUNTHER
As the WWE Intercontinental Champion, GUNTHER has been on an absolute roll when it comes to his in-ring work. Imagining him in the ring with Kenny Omega is a salivating prospect.

GUNTHER always works well with smaller opponents, especially those who can take a lot of punishment, and Omega certainly fits the bill for a perfect match to GUNTHER. In truth, Omega would be someone who would be a great fit for the Intercontinental Champion if WWE didn’t want to push him to the main event title picture.
5 Randy Orton
Randy Orton and Kenny Omega could have one of the smoothest professional wrestling matches ever if they were to compete in a WWE ring.
Both men deliver moves with crisp perfection, and it is easy to imagine them stealing the show. Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has indicated that Orton could be set for a return in the near future, which could coincide with a potential Omega signing too.
4 Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens has taken on Kenny Omega in the likes of PWG and ROH, but that was over thirteen years ago. Today, these two are much bigger stars, making this a dream match.
These two men would no doubt have a wonderful match with one another, and they have history and allegiances to build from, as they have both been teammates with the Young Bucks. One can imagine that there would be a lot of landing on the head in this match.
3 Seth Rollins
Kenny Omega and Seth Rollins have shared the ring in the past, but never in as high a profile place as WWE. Additionally, Rollins has never been better in the ring than he is today, and it is certain that these two could have one hell of a match.
Any time either of these men steps foot between the ropes, fans can be assured that they will have a match of the night contender. Rollins would even be the perfect person for a first feud for Omega, as he has proven to be someone who can elevate anyone and everyone he works with.
2 Cody Rhodes
In the likes of ROH and NJPW, Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega have had some strong matches, however it has been five years since then, and in that time there has been a lot of history built between these two.

Seeing two of AEW’s leading founders, and two men whose relationship seemingly lessened over the years, would be surreal but likely amazing. These two men are professionals who would no doubt work together brilliantly, and they could well bring an AEW-style of in-ring work to a WWE ring, which would be welcomed in small doses.
1 Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is the face of WWE, and he should be at the top of anyone’s dream match list in today’s climate. Reigns is the biggest star in wrestling of the last decade and Omega is arguably the best in-ring talent of that time frame, making this a major dream match.
At one point, Reigns and Omega were respective world champions in WWE and AEW, with lots of debate amongst fans over who was the best. There is no denying that this would be not just a great in-ring battle, but one full of storytelling and wonderful psychology too. Although some may put down Omega’s talent, this would be a WrestleMania-worthy match.
