10 NXT Stars Who Will Move To The WWE Main Roster In 2024
Olivia Owen The NXT to WWE main roster talent pipeline appears to be stronger than ever under Triple H's creative control, with his best friend Shawn Michaels heading up the developmental brand. Call-ups are treated with far more respect than they used to be under Vince McMahon, who would routinely discard the NXT prospects for no good reason.
WWE: 10 NXT Stars We Can Expect To See In The 2024 Royal Rumble
NXT wrestlers have made their presence known in recent Royal Rumbles. Who will follow suit in 2024?Last year, the likes of Grayson Waller, Pretty Deadly and The Creeds made a successful jump to the main roster with even more to come in 2024. There are plenty of NXT talents awaiting their moment to appear on Raw or SmackDown as WWE continues to produce some of the most exciting prospects in wrestling.
10 The Gallus Boys On Top
The Scottish Contingent Would Add To The Deep Pool of Factions In WWE
- Gallus Are Former NXT And NXT UK Tag Team Champions
- They Became NXT Tag Champions At Vengeance Day 2023, Holding The Titles For 176 Days
The experienced Scottish group of Gallus are among the most accomplished in-ring performers on the NXT roster and could easily produce main roster quality matches. Wolfgang and Joe and Mark Coffey have done all they can in NXT, having already had a lengthy spell as part of the UK branch of the developmental brand.
As long as they remain as a group, they can interact with the great number of factions that WWE has at the moment. The success of other British acts like Pete Dunne, TylerBate, and Pretty Deadly has also offered them a greater look at their main roster prospects.
9 Kiana James Can Take Her Business To The Main Roster
She Has Steadily Improved Over The Past Couple Of Years In NXT
- The Kiana James Character Debuted As Part Of The 2022 NXT Women's Breakout Tournament
- James Is A Former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion Alongside Fallon Henley
There have not been many performers who have continued to improve so consistently over the past couple of years as Kiana James. The businesswomen persona has helped further her character work whilst she puts in good in-ring performances, making for a well-rounded performer.
James has also done about as much as she can in NXT short of winning the women's title, but she may be better served with a call-up to Raw or SmackDown so that she can interact with some new superstars.
8 Dijak Can Be A Dominant Big Man
He Will Hopefully Have A Better Main Roster Run Outside Of Retribution
- Dijak First Debuted On The Main Roster In 2020 As 'T-Bar' In Retribution
- He Returned To NXT In November 2022 As Dijak Once Again
Retribution was such a train wreck for a number of reasons, one of the most egregious being that it suppressed the talent of the performers involved in the ill-fated faction. Among the members of the group, Dijak is probably the most accomplished as an in-ring talent, having proved that in his two stints in NXT.
Retribution & 5 Other Failed Invasion Angles In Wrestling History
Invasion angles in wrestling are difficult to pull off, as you'll see with these failed attempts by the likes of Retribution and other invaders.Dijak is still in his prime as a performer and could easily become a big deal on the main roster, having honed his Terminator style gimmick during his latest NXT run. The kind of matches he used to have with Keith Lee could occur again with the number of talented big men that are under WWE's employ.
7 Roxanne Perez Is Main Roster Ready
The Former NXT Women's Champion Has Developed Enough In NXT
- Perez Broke Out As 'Rok-C' In Ring of Honor, Signing For WWE In 2022
- She Is A Former NXT Women's Singles And Tag Team Champion
Ever since she signed with WWE in 2022 at the age of 20, Roxanne has been more than capable of being on the main roster. She is among the most talented in-ring performers in the women's division and it is about time that she became a member of Raw or SmackDown.
It is understandable why WWE would think that Perez would benefit from a couple of years of development as she is still so young. There is never a surefire age for pushing someone to the top though, and WWE would actually benefit from pushing such a young performer to the top.
6 Von Wagner Has Found A Spark In NXT
He Has Become An Ironic Favorite For Many Fans
- Von Debuted On NXT In Late 2021, Teaming And Eventually Feuding With Kyle O'Reilly
- Wagner Later Gained Robert Stone As His Manager, Heping Him Turn Face Once Again
For a while, it was difficult to see what WWE thought they had with Von Wagner, as his wooden delivery was matched by his less than thrilling in-ring work. However, this is precisely what hs endeared him to the fans as a meme, allowing Wagner the chance to improve a great deal by working as a face.
WWE may as well give Wagner a place on the main roster, as he has the appearance of a superstar and has shown an aptitude for improvement. Robert Stone has toiled around in NXT for long enough too and finally has a client worth believing in, so both men could do with a promotion.
5 Lyra Valkyria Is One Of NXT's Best In-Ring Talents
Her Character Work Continues To Improve Too
- Lyra Debuted As Aoife Valkyrie In NXT UK In 2020
- She Moved To NXT In Late 2022, Changing Her Name To Lyra Valkyria
The current NXT Women's Champion has shown that she is worthy of the accolade, particularly with her performances fighting for the title against the likes of Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton. Lyra has gradually shifted away from the 'birdness' of her character, which has made her more believable as a wrestler.
5 Reasons Why WWE's Current NXT Is The Best (& Why The Black & Gold Is Superior)
Which was superior: WWE's current version of NXT with Shawn Michaels at the helm, or the classic Black & Gold Era?There is still some work to do for Valkria in the promo department, but she is by no means bad at this area of the game, she probably just needs some more experience in the WWE style. She is one of the more sure-fire call-ups that will happen from NXT in 2024 as she won't have much left to do after losing the title.
4 Trick Williams Has The Stuff
He Ascended To Stardom Throughout 2023
- Trick Became North American Champion During A Feud With Dominik Mysterio In 2023
- He Is Currently Embroiled In An NXT Championship Program With Ilja Dragunov
Having gone from the hype man for Carmelo Hayes to a bona fide main eventer in waiting throughout 2023, Trick Williams' star power can only continue to grow in 2024. He is currently in line for an NXT Championship shot at Ilja Dragunov, whilst his partnership with Carmelo Hayes continues to develop.
Trick will be busy in NXT for a while yet, but it would not be at all surprising if he transitioned on to the WWE main roster this year, possibly to feud with Carmelo in front of a bigger audience.
3 Tiffany Stratton Can Make An Immediate Splash On The Main Roster
Stratton Is By Far One Of The Most Exciting Prospects That NXT Has Produced
- Stratton Signed For NXT In August 2021 Having Never Had A Professional Match
- At NXT Battleground 2023, TIffany Became Women's Champion For The First Time
Out of all the talents who appeared in NXT during the post-black and gold era, Tiffay Stratton is probably the greatest success story of the brand. Stratton has continued to develop in every respect, becoming one of the best all round performers in NXT.
It is actually quite surprising that Tiffany has yet to be called up to Raw or SmackDown as she would immediately fit brilliantly on either show. She could easily follow in the footsteps of Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley as women who have had great success on NXT and the main roster.
2 Ilja Dragunov Is One Of The World's Best
The NXT Champion Is More Than Ready To Be On The Main Roster
- Dragunov Defeated The Former Walter At TakeOver 36 To Become NXT UK Champion
- He Became NXT Champion After Defeating Carmelo Hayes At No Mercy 2023
Ilja Dragunov being on a developmental brand is kind of pointless as he is genuinely one of the best wrestlers on the planet today. However, WWE will believe that the time in NXT will be invaluable for developing him as a television character before he inevitably finds his way on to the main roster.
The current NXT Champion will probably appear on Raw or SmackDown before Bash in Berlin over the summer, as Dragunov will be a fan favorite in his home nation. Fans could well see a resumption of Dragunov and Gunther's legendary feud too, as his rival remains the record-breaking Intercontinental Champion.
1 Bron Breakker Is A Ready Made Superstar
He Is Currently Just Treading Water In NXT
- Breakker Holds The Record For The Second Longest NXT Title Reign At 362 Days
- He Dropped The Championship To Carmelo Hayes At Stand And Deliver 2023
Arguably NXT's MVP over the past few years, Breakker has broken on to the wrestling scene in NXT, having had lengthy spells as both a heel and a face. The two-time NXT Champion has had countless great matches which has proven that he is worthy of the push that has been bestowed upon him, setting himself up for a main roster call up very soon.
Breakker will have to be handled with care once he moves to Raw or SmackDown if WWE are serious about making him the main event star that he has the potential to be. Given the recent success of NXT's call-ups, fans will have the utmost faith in Breakker's future though.
