10 Superstars That Are Still Wrestling
Mia Walsh Why is it that we still talk about the Attitude Era in 2020? Nostalgia is a strong factor, as wrestling fans cling on to the awesome memories provided by the hottest time period in wrestling history.

Another reason is the fact that many of the stars from that time are still competing today. While this article focuses on WWE's Attitude Era, we have to mention how wrestlers from other promotions at the time of the Monday Night Wars are still going at it; fans get to witness Goldberg, DDP and RVD wrestling in 2020! A special shoutout also goes out to Shane McMahon, who, while not on this list, probably has at least one more big fall before his career as an in-ring competitor is officially done.
10 Chris Jericho
When Chris Jericho calls himself "The GOAT," people should take notice. Sure, he's a heel who's trying to portray how much better he is than everybody else, but there is much truth to the words he speaks. Who else has stayed as consistently relevant and entertaining as Y2J has ever since his time in WCW?
Although he may not be at his peak in terms of in-ring skills, there are few people who can compete with Jericho in terms of promo ability, charisma and character work. He fit alongside all the legends of the Attitude Era and continues to be a legend in his own right today.
9 Triple H
Speaking of always staying relevant, fans have been playing The Game for a long while now. From "The Cerebral Assassin" to Papa Hunter, we've watched Triple H grow as a performer and as a businessman, working hard to ensure the future of his father-in-law's company.
He probably doesn't have very many matches left; maybe a handful at WrestleMania and the Saudi shows. As fans, it's best to just sit back, relax, and enjoy Triple H the wrestler for as long as we can have him.
8 Edge
Of all the people on this list, Edge is by far the biggest surprise, as he retired from wrestling 9 years ago due to injury. Fast forward to 2020, where "The Rated R Superstar" returned at the Royal Rumble, taking advantage of this second chance to do what he loves—truly, he is "The Ultimate Opportunist."
Edge still looks great at the ripe old age of 46, and fans all know the passion is still there. He may not be jumping off ladders in historic TLC matches anymore, but he's got a few Spears left to give.
7 Ken Shamrock
It's nuts that Ken Shamrock is still wrestling at 56 years old, but he's been an interesting addition to the Impact roster. He feuded with Moose on social media, leading to a match at Bound For Glory, which Shamrock lost. He was also recently announced as the newest member of Impact's Hall of Fame.

Shamrock will always have a special place in wrestling history, as he was one of the first crossover stars coming in from the UFC and transitioning to wrestling, signing with WWE right at the start of the Attitude Era. While he wasn't the best promo man, Ken Shamrock was an intimidating force that captured numerous titles, as well as being the King of the Ring.
6 The Undertaker
Fans thought they saw the last of "The Deadman" at WrestleMania 33 when Roman Reigns became the second man ever to pin The Undertaker at WWE's biggest show of the year. Although he left his coat and hat in the middle of the ring that night, he's donned his gear and wrestled quite a few matches since, continuing what seems like wrestling tradition and refusing to officially retire.
Rumor has it we might see "The Phenom" compete at WrestleMania this year against a certain phenomenal opponent. At age 54, we're definitely witnessing 'Taker's final matches; the fact we might see him wrestle AJ Styles—at WrestleMania, no less—is definitely a treat for fans.
5 Dustin Rhodes
It's crazy to think that Dustin Rhodes (AKA Goldust) has wrestled in 5 different decades, from the 1980s to the 2020s. AEW has breathed new life into Dustin, arguably having his best match ever in the twilight of his career.
Still going strong at 50, Dustin seems content to help out his brother Cody in any way he can, putting over young wrestlers while serving as a trainer backstage. We (probably) won't witness any Goldust-like behavior from Dustin, but we'll always have fond memories of "The Bizarre One" creeping us out and making us laugh during the Attitude Era.
4 Billy Gunn
While he may not be a regular in-ring competitor, serving more of a backstage role in AEW, the 56-year-old Billy Gunn still has some juice left in the tank. He's competed in a few matches, most notably coming face-to-face with MJF in the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale.

Billy isn't the only Gunn in AEW, as his son Austin Gunn recently signed a contract with the company. The father and son duo have tagged before, it'll be interesting to see if Austin can be a successful second-generation wrestler.
3 Kane
He may not be a regular competitor anymore, but, like his contemporaries, Kane still makes sporadic appearances. We recently saw him in the buildup to the Daniel Bryan-Fiend match at Royal Rumble, where "The Big Red Machine" came out on SmackDown to help his Team Hell No teammate.
Kane was a crucial part of the Attitude Era, providing a truly terrifying character (and some eventual laughs) that still makes the audience pop today. That, and the fact his pyro can be felt anywhere you sit in the arena.
2 The Hardys
What does the future have in store for the Hardys? Matt seems to be on his way out of WWE, while Jeff is still on the sidelines with an injury. They've both put their bodies through hell during their career, entertaining fans since their days feuding with the Dudleys and Edge & Christian.
Will we see Matt Hardy in AEW? Will fans have a chance to revisit the Broken Universe? Or is there something much darker happening? With a limited schedule and creative control, Matt can really flourish in AEW. Jeff can always follow suit or continue to carve his own path in WWE.
1 Big Show
We don't know how many Chokeslams or WMDs the Big Show has left, but it will be a sad day when our generation's greatest wrestling giant calls it quits. Luckily, that doesn't seem to be happening so soon, as Show is in the best shape of his life at 48.
Big Show debuted at the St. Valentine's Day Massacre PPV, tearing through the ring canvas in the main event cage match between "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Mr. McMahon.
