10 Wrestlers With The Most Royal Rumble Appearances (With Almost No Eliminations)
John Castro The Royal Rumble match is a statistician and wrestling fan's dream as it is an event filled with records and numbers. WWE loves to run the numbers of Royal Rumble statistics dating back to its 1988 inception. The WWE Universe remember legacies left by Kane, Roman Reigns, and Braun Strowman for their single-match and all-time elimination records.

On the other side of the spectrum, some wrestlers have made numerous appearances and struggled dearly with eliminations. A handful of wrestlers have had a few appearances and no eliminations while others failed to thrive over time. When looking at just men's participants, there are 10 key performers with the most Royal Rumble appearances and yet with almost no eliminations (going into the 2021 event).
10 Chavo Guerrero
Chavo Guerrero also holds the same Rumble appearance-elimination record as Santino Marella with five appearances and one elimination. Chavo competed in the 2003 as well as the 2006-2008 and 2011 Rumble matches with his only elimination coming in 2008 with CM Punk being his victim.
Fans may remember Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar entering the Rumble as world champions in 2016 and 2020 respectively but Chavo was the first world champion post-Millenium, and second all-time, to be in the Rumble match. Chavo entered the 2008 match as ECW World Heavyweight Champion.
9 K-Kwik/R-Truth
The superstar who may go down in WWE history with the most cumulative title reigns, mostly in part to the 24/7 Championship, R-Truth has not had much luck in the Royal Rumble match. Truth has competed in eight Rumbles and has two eliminations.

Truth's first appearance was in 2001 as "K-Kwik" and would compete as "R-Truth" in the 2009-2012 Rumbles, as well as the 2014-16 Rumbles. Truth shockingly eliminated both Mark Henry and The Big Show in the 2010 Rumble for his pair of eliminations.
8 Titus O'Neil
A supplier of an incredibly memorable Royal Rumble moment, Titus O'Neil has participated in six Royal Rumble matches and has one elimination to his credit. The leader of the defunct Titus Worldwide stable has appeared in the 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019 Rumbles as well as the Greatest Royal Rumble match in April 2018.
Titus' only elimination was sending Goldust out of the 2016 match. The aforementioned memorable Rumble moment occurred in the Greatest Royal Rumble match when O'Neil tripped while running to the ring during his entrance resulting in Titus falling and sliding headfirst under the ring.
7 Big E (Langston)
Similar to Titus O'Neil but slightly worse, Big E has seven Royal Rumble appearance credits and one elimination. Big E competed in the 2014 Rumble as "Big E. Langston" and as "Big E" in the 2015 match. Big E has also competed in the 2017-2020 Rumbles along with being in the Greatest Royal Rumble match; the latter was the place of his only elimination, ending Tucker Knight's night.

Big E was part of one of Kofi Kingston's legendary escapes of elimination in 2018. Kingston was first saved on the outside by fellow New Day member Xavier Woods and a platter of pancakes. With only one foot having touched the floor, Big E and Woods cupped Kofi's legal foot and hoisted him up in the air, over the top rope, and back into the ring and match.
6 The Hurricane/Gregory Helms
"Stand back! There's a hurricane coming through!" is what the WWE Universe would hear everything The Hurricane would make his entrance. Shane Helms competed in five Rumble matches. Four appearances came as WWE's resident superhero "The Hurricane" in 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2018. One Rumble appearance was as "Gregory Helms" in 2007.
The collective elimination total for Helms is a big whopping goose egg, zero. Hurricane had a pair of memorable Royal Rumble match moments with one being his surprise return and participation in the 2018 match, and the other attempting to double-chokeslam Steve Austin and Triple H in 2002 before being thrown out by the two.
5 Jack Swagger
The former Money In The Bank winner and World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger participated in six Royal Rumble matches while in WWE. Swagger was in the 2010-2012, and 2014-2016 Rumble matches with zero eliminations to his name.
Swagger's lack of eliminations is rather surprising based on his size, strength, and amateur wrestling background which of course means he is a sound grappler. Five of Swagger's Rumble appearances came after his 2010 world title reign; with no eliminations coming in that time, it is evident how WWE "gave up" on Swagger after 2010.
4 (Prince) Albert/A-Train/Tensai
Best known now by his real name of Matt Bloom, Matt has competed in six Royal Rumble matches under various personas. He competed in the 2000 and 2001 Rumbles as Prince Albert, the 2002 Rumble as Albert, the 2003 and 2004 Rumbles as A-Train, and the 2013 Rumble as Tensai.
Bloom had a cumulative elimination total of zero. It was clear that WWE was not going to run with Bloom as a top star, despite New Japan Pro-Wrestling finding that potential in him, but nevertheless, WWE still portrayed him as a menacing beast. Bloom's strength could have been put to greater use through high-spot eliminations.
3 Papa Shango/Kama (Mustafa)/The G(o)odfather
Known now by his real name of Charles Wright but best known as The Godfather, Wright has competed in eight Royal Rumbles, also through various personas. Wright was in the 1993 Rumble as Papa Shango, the 1996 Rumble as Kama, the 1998 Rumble as Kama Mustafa, the 1999, 2000, 2002, and 2013 Rumbles as The Godfather, and the 2001 Rumble as The Goodfather.
The 2013 appearance was as a surprise entrant and received a great response from the live crowd but Godfather was eliminated by Dolph Ziggler in around five seconds. Through eight appearances, Wright has one elimination to his name when Kama and Diesel eliminated Duke Droese in the 1996 Rumble.
2 Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin is one of the worst Royal Rumble competitors ever. Although a fan-favorite and holder of every title in WWE except when it comes to a world title, Shelton has appeared in 11 Royal Rumble matches and has three eliminations to his name. Benjamin has competed in the Rumble from 2003-2010, and then again from 2019 to 2020 as well as the Greatest Royal Rumble match in 2018.
Benjamin and Charlie Haas eliminated Booker T in 2003, Benjamin and five others eliminated Muhammad Hassan in 2005, and Shelton and seven others eliminated Viscera in 2007. Benjamin has yet to eliminate someone by himself with over a decade's worth of Rumble experience.
1 The Miz
Even though Shelton Benjamin's Rumble record is pretty ugly, The Miz is worse by just one appearance. Miz has competed in the 2007-2010, 2012-2018, and 2020 Rumbles for a cumulative total of 12 appearances and has three eliminations to his name.
WWE's resident "A-lister" eliminated John Cena in the 2011 Rumble when Miz was holding the WWE Championship but the two main evented WrestleMania anyway. Miz would eliminate R-Truth and Alex Riley in the 2012 Rumble.
