While wrestling fans will happily debate over what their best 'Mania was, it is always interesting to hear from the legends themselves. Learning about what they think is their greatest match on The Grandest Stage Of Them All is always an interesting situation, getting it from their own perspective.
10 Chris Jericho (vs. Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 19)
Chris Jericho has got a lot of fantastic WrestleMania matches in the bank, but for him, it is his contest with Shawn Michaels that was his greatest. This was certainly a show-stealing performance from both men, regardless of the fact it was not in the main event slot.
The two of them worked brilliantly together whenever they competed, just having perfect chemistry. It was a technical masterpiece, with both men pushing each other to their limits. They held nothing back within this one, which drew the fans in, putting on a clinic inside the ring.
9 Bret Hart (vs. Steve Austin - WrestleMania 13)
Bret Hart and Steve Austin always worked perfectly together, having fantastic chemistry inside the ring. The Hitman has had some classic matches at WrestleMania, but his WrestleMania 13 clash with the Texas Rattlesnake is his favorite. Bret was worried about the stipulation, and that's what makes it so good for him.

The fact they were able to push themselves, creating an iconic match even without the traditional pinfall to draw the fans in is what makes this a great one for Hart. It is certainly a great match, and one that few fans would argue against.
8 Steve Austin (vs. Bret Hart - WrestleMania 13)
That match at WrestleMania 13 isn't just special for Bret Hart, as Steve Austin also rates it as his favoriteWrestleMania match as well. The fact that both men involved place it so highly showcases how incredible the match is, especially when they're two of the greatest of all time.
He felt that because they were executing a double turn while also putting on a great match, there was a lot for them to do. The match is a special one for Austin, and it certainly had a huge impact on his career overall.
7 Triple H (vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 28)
Triple H has competed in a lot of WrestleMania matches, and three of those have been against The Undertaker. For him, the last of those was his favorite match as they battled inside Hell in a Cell. It was an amazing encounter, which showcased storytelling at its finest.
With Shawn Michaels as the referee, there were a lot of added elements here. They created one of the best near falls in history with the Sweet Chin Music into the Pedigree. They used the cage well, and pushed each other to their limits with a physical, yet gripping encounter.
6 Shawn Michaels (vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 26)
Shawn Michaels had not one, but two classic encounters with The Undertaker. Fans are often divided on which one was the best match, but for HBK, it is the WrestleMania 26 bout, which is the favorite of his WrestleMania matches. For a man known as Mr. WrestleMania, this is high praise indeed.
This was the match that ended his career, but Shawn made sure he went out in style. They played on what happened the year prior, and fit in some amazing near falls that fans bought into. They always had amazing chemistry, and that was certainly on display here.
5 Kane (vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 14)
Another wrestler who chose his encounter with The Undertaker as his personal favorite WrestleMania match was Kane. The Big Red Machine made his debut on the Grandest Stage Of Them All in this match. He and Undertaker put together a solid brawl throughout it.
This wasn't a technical masterpiece, but for two big men, that isn't what anybody wanted to see. It was all about the story and whether Undertaker could actually put his brother down. It was effective and is one that fans still recall to this day.
4 Kurt Angle (vs. Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 21)
Kurt Angle was an incredible professional wrestler, and putting him up against Shawn Michaels was truly a no-brainer. They put together a technical masterpiece, which is Angle's favorite ever WrestleMania performance. The build-up to this was great, and the match didn't let it down.
They brought in the submission work, technical elements, as well as just an all-out brawl at times. From battling outside the ring, to adding unique story elements, this encounter had everything that a fan could look for.
3 Daniel Bryan (vs. Kofi Kingston - WrestleMania 35)
Now Daniel Bryan is gone from WWE, it seems unlikely he will have another WrestleMania match. However, he's had some iconic matches on The Grandest Stage Of Them All over his career. While he's headlined the show twice, neither of those are his personal favorite.
For him, it's the match with Kofi Kingston that tops the list, which was an amazing moment. It was iconic, emotional, and the two of them worked perfectly together. They went back and forth with technical work, submissions, and strikes in what turned out to be a classic.
2 The Undertaker (End Of An Era Matches)
The Undertaker is someone that every fan thinks about when it comes to WrestleMania, but he has been unable to nail down one specific match as his favorite. That is because he loves all four of the matches which led to the End Of An Era storyline, which saw him face Shawn Michaels and Triple H twice.

He views them as one big story, which is his personal favorite from his entire career. All four matches are fantastic, and there is certainly an element of connectivity between them all, which makes each one feel special in their own right.
1 Batista (vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 23)
Batista had some epic encounters at WrestleMania, often being slotted into major matches on the show. However, for him, it is his encounter with The Undertaker that was his personal highlight. They had a great rivalry, and their WrestleMania encounter was a great part of that.
It was physical and filled with energy, and The Animal certainly pushed The Deadman. But the reason he picked this match was that Batista felt that this was his first 'Mania match where nobody was carrying him, and he belonged.
