1. Film Producer - Priyanka Chopra
The list has to begin with this global icon. She is a striving example of how when a woman puts her mind to doing something, she does it with utmost perfection. Her production house - Purple Pebble Pictures was set up in 2015. She is invested in supporting new talent and has produced films in a plethora of languages such as Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri to name a few. Ventilator - a Marathi comedy-drama produced by her banner won 3 national awards in 2016. She has a film lined up to release on the OTT platform as well.
2. Film Producer - Deepika Padukone
Though the actress is very careful with her projects and comes up with solid performances, she has been missing from our screens for a long time. However, her last film Chhapaak which was a critically acclaimed film was her first project as a producer, along with being the lead actress. It was a Meghna Gulzar directorial based on the life of an acid-attack victim. Trust Deepika to always be a part of stories that need to be told to the audience. The content of her first production is extremely applaud-worthy for someone who stepped into the shoes of a producer for the first time.
3. Film Producer - Anushka Sharma
Anushka Sharma is a self-made woman and there is no denying that. She teamed up with her brother Karnesh, and together they launched Clean Slate Films - their production company. This was established in 2014, since then this banner has come up with diverse films such as Pari, NH10, Phillauri, and the latest hits on OTT platforms - Paatal Lok and Bulbbul. Anushka is truly a trailblazer and the kind of content she produces reflects her deep understanding of supporting progressive content.
4. Film Producer - Dia Mirza
She just got married and has been flooded with a lot of love and congratulatory messages. Even though her acting career did not take off a good flight, the gorgeous actress has been playing plenty of other roles that make us admire her a great deal. Not many would know, but Dia Mirza is a veteran producer herself and her banner is called Born Free Entertainment. Their first production was in 2011 - Love Breakups Zindagi followed by the Vidya Balan starrer Bobby Jasoos in 2014. Her last production was on the OTT platform, titled Mind the Malhotras which did fairly well with its sitcom vibe. Madhuri Dixit was the reigning queen of the '90s. Though she was missing from all the action when she married and moved to the US, she made a comeback in 2011 and launched her production house RnM Moving Pictures with her husband. She has collaborated with Priyanka Chopra to be a part of an international project. She has produced a Marathi film titled Bucket list, she also has an upcoming film 15th August which was supposed to release on Netflix last year. Mrs Funnybones is loved for her witty sense of humour and flawless writing skills. What a lot of people might be unaware of is that this lady is also a producer. She has produced her husband- Akshay Kumar's film itself. Twinkle khanna production house has the quirkiest name ever as she has named it Mrs Funnybones Movies. Padman which starred Akshay Kumar was a big hit delivered by her production house. Seems like she truly is multi-talented and extremely good at her work.

The extremely gorgeous actress has more talents than one. She has produced one of the well-made films of Taapsee Pannu. A lot of people might be unaware of the fact that Soorma which also had Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role was produced by Chitrangadha Singh. Starting her journey as a producer with a biopic is a great deal and she aced her role perfectly.

Tisca Chopra is an unconventional actress who has always been part of very realistic content. She decided to take up the role of a producer with the film Chutney. She believes she is a very creative person and truly feels that some stories need to be told, and she as a producer has the power to let that happen. It is believed that she has been working on a dark thriller which is mostly in its pre-production stage. Now, this is a performer we never thought is a part of this category too.
