Sophia Edwards In November 1987, the Survivor Series was created, and it was traditionally a Thanksgiving tradition. It is the second of WWE's major "Big Four" events alongside WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and the Royal Rumble. However, the importance of Survivor Series may have waned in the past decade. Still, since 2022, Survivor Series has featured a couple of WarGames matches which has made fans interested in Survivor Series again instead of the brand versus brand matches with little build-ups.

WWE has a strong roster at its disposal, and it has always been a mixture of youth and experience. Some of the youngest wrestlers in WWE history have managed to compete at Survivor Series which is a big deal. Not every competitor who participated in the Survivor Series at a young age had a successful WWE career, but some did and clinched championships.

Jeff Hardy is one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE history. Before he turned 25, Hardy won countless championships alongside his brother Matt, and he held the Intercontinental Championship once. Hardy's Survivor Series debut was in 1999, and he teamed up with his brother Matt and their rivals Edge and Christian. They squared off with the Hollys and Too Cool.
Hardy had a decent performance, and he managed to eliminate Scotty 2 Hotty from the match. However, Scotty's tag team partner Grand Master Sexay eliminated Hardy from proceedings. Hardy was 22 years old at the time, and it was a loss for his team as Hardcore Holly was the sole survivor.

Chaparita Asari had a brief stint in WWE and only wrestled two company matches. Her first outing was a traditional Survivor Series elimination at Survivor Series 1995, and she was on the team that featured the three-time WWE Women's Champion Alundra Blayze.
Asari's involvement was brief and Aja Kong was a woman on a mission. Asari attempted to clobber Kong, but Kong took down Asari with ease. Kong eliminated Asari in under a minute after she executed a splash off the top rope, and Asari wrestled Kong on the following episode of Raw in a losing effort.

Tama is a member of the legendary Anoa'i Family as the nephew of the Wild Samoans, twin brother to WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, the older brother to Umaga, the uncle to the Usos, and the cousin to Roman Reigns. Tama was just 22 when he competed in his sole traditional Survivor Series elimination match in 1987 alongside his tag team partner Haku as the Islanders, and they were members of the Heenan Family with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan as their manager.
Tama could be proud of his performance as he reached the very end of the match with Haku. They lost the match when the Killer Bees' Brian Blair saw off Tama with a sunset flip.
6 The Jumping Bomb Angels Were Triumphant In Their First Survivor Series Appearance (1987)

The Jumping Bomb Angels are one of the most underrated tag teams in WWE history. They were involved in the first women's match to take place at Survivor Series. Noriyo Tateno and Itsuki Yamazaki were both closing in on their 22nd birthdays when they were involved in the traditional Survivor Series elimination match in 1987.

They were the only two members left on their team, and they became the sole survivors when Yamazaki eliminated Leilani Kai, and Tateno eliminated Judy Martin to secure the victory.
5 Hornswoggle Had An Uphill Battle (2007)

2007 was a solid year for Hornswoggle as he unexpectedly won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at The Great American Bash. However, Vickie Guerrero forced him to relinquish the title when he was revealed to be the illegitimate son of Mr. McMahon. Hornswoggle had one of the toughest tests to overcome as he was pitted with The Great Khali at Survivor Series.
This had to be one of the biggest mismatches in WWE history with the former World Heavyweight Champion towering over Hornswoggle. The McMahons were at ringside and Hornswoggle spat green mist in Khali's manager/translator Ranjin Singh's face. Finlay got involved in Hornswoggle's feud with the McMahons for the first time as he attacked Khali with a shillelagh, and the 21-year-old Hornswoggle got disqualified when Finlay used it.

Sean Waltman is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer going into the Hall in 2019 and 2020 as a member of DX and the nWo. A couple of decades before his Hall of Fame induction, Waltman was known as The 1-2-3 Kid. He competed in the traditional Survivor Series elimination match in 1993 alongside Razor Ramon, Randy Savage, and Marty Jannetty.

The 1-2-3 Kid eliminated Rick Martel with a sunset flip, and Jannetty secured the win for Team Razor by eliminating Adam Bomb from the match. The 1-2-3 Kid was 21 years old when he competed at Survivor Series for the first time.

The 10-diva tag team match at Survivor Series 2007 was historic as it was the first women's match in two decades since the first Survivor Series in 1987 to have five women on each team in a match at Survivor Series. Kelly Kelly was incredibly green, and she was 20 when she competed in this match.
Kelly's involvement in the match was minimal although she had a brief interaction with Mickie. This victory kickstarted an impressive 3-0 unbeaten record at Survivor Series for Kelly Kelly.

Kenny Dykstra is one of the youngest Tag Team Champions in WWE history at the age of 20. Kenny had tons of potential which he didn't quite reach. At Survivor Series 2006, the Spirit Squad comprised of Kenny, Johnny, Mikey, and Nicky faced off with Team WWE Legends featuring Ric Flair, Ron Simmons, Sgt. Slaughter, and Dusty Rhodes.
Kenny eliminated Dusty with a rollup, and he gestured 3 to 1 in Flair's face. Kenny would have been bitterly disappointed that The Spirit Squad was unable to see the job through as the Nature Boy managed to eliminate Mikey, Kenny, and Johnny with the Figure Four Leglock with Team WWE Legends triumphant.

JoJo made history at Survivor Series 2013 as she became the first person under the age of 20 to compete at Survivor Series. JoJo represented the Total Divas alongside the Bella Twins, Naomi, Cameron, Eva Marie, and Natalya. They clashed with the True Divas led by the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee.
JoJo was not a trained in-ring competitor. She tagged herself in, and Tamina was toying with JoJo. JoJo was out of her depth in the ring, and she also eliminated Tanuka with a rollup. Tamina did all the hard work by executing the Samoan Drop on JoJo, and AJ pinned JoJo, removing her from the equation.
