Since then, Riggs has continued his career in entertainment. He joined ABC’s family drama A Million Little Things for his guest arc as Patrick 'PJ' Nelson. He was born near The Walking Dead hometown in Atlanta, Georgia, and lived in the Southern state for much of his young life, despite occasionally traveling for acting jobs.

Chandler Riggs has been an actor for most of his life. He got his start at the tender age of only 4-years-old in stage productions, and quickly graduated to working in the indie horror short film Jesus H. Zombie.
He went on to star in a post-apocalyptic short film titled Terminus in 2011, shortly after beginning his journey as Carl Grimes. Coincidentally, that same title became an important and memorable location in the fictional world of The Walking Dead.
6 He Is An Avid Gamer

5 He Is Close With His TV Dad Andrew Lincoln
Andrew Lincoln and Chandler Riggs may not be blood-related in real life, but playing father and son for eight years comes with a sweet and lifelong bond. Riggs, who attended public school for most of the time that he starred in the dystopian drama, graduated High School in 2017 and celebrated the accomplishment with an epic graduation party with family and friends.
But what would a party be without his TV-Dad? Andrew Lincoln crashed the party, along with costars Lennie James and Danai Gurira.
4 He Couldn't Have A Gun In The Walking Dead Until He Was 14 Years Old
Being so young in a zombie apocalypse means that even kids have to learn how to use guns, knives, and need to be ready to kill with them. Things are a little bit different in the real world when it comes to making a television show about zombies though.
Chandler admitted that even though Georgia law states that a child can use a gun as early as 8-years-old, the filming laws are different. "I can't touch anything will fire a projective on set. You have to be fourteen to do it on set, I think. So the gun I was carrying around was actually a cap gun."
3 He Suffered Memory Loss From An Accident
Riggs suffered a terrible concussion that resulted in some memory loss after falling while horseback riding in 2019. Though there was no major permanent damage done and no bones broken, he had some trouble with short-term memory after the accident.
"I feel a lot better but I still forget a thing or two from time to time," Riggs explained on Twitter. "It's so weird hearing about what I was saying and doing after [the accident] happened. For hours I had no idea what year it was, how I got there, what happened, etc. and I kept asking the same questions over and over again just to immediately forget the answer."
2 He Auditioned For The Role Of Spider Man
Riggs wasn't much into comics before being cast on a show based on one. "I don't really read any comics, but when I got casted on the show, I starting reading The Walking Dead comics. I felt like I needed a better idea of the character."
That didn't stop him from auditioning for more roles from the comic world. After leaving his role as Carl, he auditioned for the role of Spider-Man but ultimately lost out on the Marvel Cinematic Universe character to Tom Holland. "I thought that would have been cool. But it's okay, it's okay."
1 He Had To Eat Nearly 5 Pounds Of Chocolate Pudding
Famously eating a giant can of the stuff in the episode season 4 episode "After", Riggs assured everyone that while he didn't actually eat the entire thing, he has still had more than enough chocolate pudding. "I only ate, like, a quarter of it, but that still was a lot of pudding. It was a good, like, five pounds of pudding that I had to eat."
It became such a popular scene that fans repeatedly sent him chocolate pudding as gifts. “People are still bringing me pudding at conventions," Riggs said referring to his fans. “Those little Snack Pack things. And big metal cans.”
