Anushka Sharma to now produce a web series

After making her foray into film production with Pari and NH 10, Anushka Sharma is all set to make her debut in web series along with brother Karnesh Sharma. Their production company, Clean Slate Films, is getting into web series production. Interestingly, Anushka and Karnesh have already locked their first series with Amazon. The series, which is a gripping cop drama, will be hosted on Amazon Prime. Anushka has roped in Sudeep Sharma, the acclaimed writer of films like NH 10 and Udta Punjab, to pilot this project. Anushka won’t be acting in it.
“Anushka, along with her brother, has shown that they will push the envelope and break new ground with every piece of content that comes out of their production house. She is purely driven by strong ideas that makes for engaging, disruptive yet hugely entertaining cinema and wants every creative content that they produce to always resonate these values,” says a source close to the project.
