The Outlast movie follows journalist Miles Upshur, who infiltrates the abandoned Mount Massive Asylum to investigate the dangerous experiments that were conducted there. He soon discovers that the asylum is full of dangerous patients, many of whom have been subjected to horrifying experimental treatments. Camera in hand, Miles must fight for survival as he tries to uncover the truth behind the experiments. As Miles makes his way deeper into the asylum, he discovers a series of documents and recordings detailing the horrors that took place at the asylum.
