Niantic has announced a special ticketed collaboration event for the launch of Pokémon Air Adventures for Indonesia, exclusively for Indonesian Pokémon GO players. The Pikachu's Indonesia Journey in Bali event will run on March 2nd and 3rd, from 10:00am to 6:00pm local time. Tickets are available to purchase now for 150,000 IDR. Trainers may only purchase a ticket for one day of the two-day event.

Event features and bonuses
The following event features and bonuses will be active during the event for ticket holders:

• Trainers will have an increased chance to encounter Shiny Pokémon
• Trainers can receive up to six additional Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms
• Trainers will be able to make up to three Special Trades per day
• Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for eight hours
• Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently in balloons
• Buddy Pokémon may find an exclusive Paper Airplane souvenir
• Trainers can receive special surprise encounters with Latias or Latios by taking GO snapshots during the event period
• Trainers who take on in-person Mega Raids will have a chance of receiving a Bali Location Card after catching Latias or Latios

In addition, the following features and bonuses will be available for all Trainers physically present in Bali, including for those without an event ticket

• Spin PokéStops or receive Gifts to get special Pikachu's Indonesia Journey–themed stickers
• Take snapshots for surprise encounters with Pikachu wearing a batik shirt and Chatot
• Participate in the Pokémon TCG Academia in the newly opened Living World Denpasar mall

Collection Challenges
An event-themed Collection Challenges will be available as part of this event, giving players an opportunity to further level up their Elite Collector medal.

Special Research and Field Research
Trainers will be able to access event-exclusive Special Research story to earn a variety of in-game rewards.

Free event-themed Field Research tasks will also be running during this event. Trainers completing the Field Research tasks will receive encounters with featured Pokémon including Pikachu with a Batik Shirt, and Chatot.
