Bray Wyatt Breaks Character To Offer Support To Autistic Boy Who Was Bullied At School
Jessica Wilkins Bray Wyatt made a warm gesture towards a young fan who was recently attacked by a school bully.
The boy, who is also autistic, had his Bray Wyatt shirt cut up whilst still on him, likely resulting in an injury as he was pictured in a hospital bed in his mother's tweet. He is said to have had his WWE PopSocket broken too.
The boy's mom reached out to both WWE and Wyatt on Twitter detailing the troubling incident.

“@WWE @WWEBrayWyatt my boy was attacked by another student at school," she wrote in a tweet.
"His wwe popsocket was broken and his bray wyatt shirt was ripped by the kid cutting him with scissors. He’s tougher than a bully #autism #autismfamily #wwefan."
The tweet caught the Universal Champion's attention, prompting him to offer to personally send the young victim another shirt and letting him know he got his back.
“Dm me size and where to send it. Tell him I got his six," he tweeted in response.
The gesture has generated a whole lot of positive comments from fans.
"My son is on the spectrum and I worry everyday that he will get bullied," one user wrote. "People that are different shouldn't have to live in fear because others don't understand... tell your son that alot of us have his back."
Another suggested that The Fiend, Wyatt's alter-ego, should pay a visit to the bully whose actions resulted in the poor boy being hospitalized.
Only A Bully For TV
It was very nice of Wyatt to reach out to the boy's mother and it must mean the world to her that he's responded. She wasn't really asking for anything, she just wanted Bray to know that a young fan of his went through what must have been a horrible experience.
It's ironic that Wyatt portrays a bully on television, with both of his characters striking fear into other wrestlers on a weekly basis. That actually makes the fact that he's shown support extra cool.
