With just one month left until the 20th anniversary of one of fashion's all-time favorite films (July 19 to be exact), we're already knee-high deep in nostalgia. Clueless gave us the style spirit animal Cher Horowitz, endless '90s fashion inspiration and of course, a new Valley-girl inspired vocabulary that is still quoted to this day. But how would the movie's iconic slang translate in 2015? We consulted As If: The Oral History of Clueless by Jen Chaney for the official definitions and origins of the movie's most popular slang, then reinterpreted our favorite Clueless one-liners for 2015—so Cher Horowitz and co. can still be on fleek.

AS IF!

Clueless definition: The Cher Horowitz way of saying "no way."

2015 version: I can't even!

BUGGIN

Clueless definition: Totally freaking out.

2015 version: DYING/DEAD.

AUDI

Clueless definition: I'm "outie." Both Cher and Tai's parting words before leaving a room.

2015 version: Bye Felicia!

BARNEY

Clueless definition: A stupid or inadequate male. Cher referring to Tai's friends at the mall, "I don't know where she meets these barneys!".

2015 versions: Douche.

BETTY

Clueless definition: A very attractive female. Cher showing off the portrait of her mom, "Wasn't my mom a betty?"

2015 version: MILF.

GENERIC

Clueless definition: "Could they please be more generic?" Cher rolls her eyes while watching Tai and her guy friends at the mall.

2015 version: Basic.

IN ON THE HEAVY CLAMBAKES

Clueless definition: Being popular and up on the social scene. When Christian first meets Cher, "I'm new, but I thought maybe you had an in on the heavy clambakes?"

2015 version: On the circuit.

MONET

Clueless definition: Cher, referring to Amber, "She's a full-on Monet. It's like a painting, see? From far away, it's okay, but up close, it's a big ol' mess."

2015 update: She looks better with a filter.

TOE-UP

Clueless definition: Ugly. Dionne, referring to the first time she and Cher see Tai, "Cher, she is toe-up. Our stock would plummet."

2015 version: DUFF.

BALDWIN

Clueless definition: A cute guy, a la a Baldwin brother circa 1990. In Clueless speak, Cher realizes that Josh is "kind of a Baldwin."

2015 version: Bae.

RATIONED

Clueless definition: Too busy, socially unavailable.

2015 version: Slammed.

JEEPIN'

Clueless definition: Sneaking around your significant other's back, or directly referring to doing it in a car.

2015 version: Creepin'

BONUS: WAY HARSH, TAI

And the one-liner that still remains relevant in today's lingo? "Way harsh, Tai." There's just no better way to say it.
