Speaking of Basketball, in 2006, Alcott made his debut at the national level in wheelchair basketball at the wheelchair basketball world championship for the Rollers, Australian’s men national wheelchair basketball.

In the Summer Paralympics 2008, he won gold medal for his team Rollers.

In the sports of Tennis, he was into it since he was 16 years old. His biggest achievement in his tennis career has been his game in the Super series crown, 2014 by defeating Andy Lapthorne in the finals of British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championship.
