With all these championships being shown off currently, now is the perfect time to look at every world championship and rank them from worst to best. Trying to fit as many promotions as possible including Pro Wrestling Noah, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, and many more. Let's look at every major world title.
21 CMLL World Women's Championship
Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) created the CMLL World Women's Championship in 1992. Since its creation, the title has seen 20 reigns between 13 different champions with the inaugural champion being Bull Nakano when she beat Lola Gonzalez in the finals of the 12-woman torneo Cibernetico elimination match.
The design of the belt itself is very minimal with a silver plate and two ribbons with the words "Campeon Mundial" on top and "Femenil" on the bottom. It also includes two wreath patterns under the ribbons, a crown at the top, and two warriors' heads facing each other on the sides. A fun fact about the belt is that it was defended in North Korea during the Collision in Korea show between Akira Hokuto and Bull Nakano.
20 Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
After Roman Reigns unified both the Universal and WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38 against Brock Lesnar, WWE would start using the two belts as one entity. Finally, when Reigns hit 1000 days as champion, WWE gave him a new updated belt titled, the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The design is very reminiscent of the WWE titles that have been produced since 2016 with the Raw and SmackDown Women's and the original Universal Championship all featuring the WWE logo, colored strap, and colored background. The new version keeps the black strap with a new gold background behind the WWE logo.
19 WWE Women's Championship
With the 2023 WWE Brand Split taking full effect, WWE decided to match the SmackDown belts to each other. With Roman Reigns getting the new gold WWE Championship belt, Asuka would be presented with a similar title in the same vein that all WWE Women's Championship have matched in recent years.
The design is exactly like the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship with the new golden background behind the logo. The only difference is the white strap instead of the black strap that is used on the men's titles.
18 Impact Knockouts World Championship
After a rough time for Impact Wrestling championships changing colors, featuring stickers that looked like they would fly off, and a company-wide name change for a bit, 2020 saw Impact Wrestling finally land on some decent designs for their belts.

The Impact Knockouts World Championship features a unique design with an all-silver metal look and thinner plates wrapping around it. The middle plate features the Impact Wrestling logo with red detailing behind it, the second plates have a red heart, and the third plates feature a red circle with the letters KO inside.
17 Impact World Championship
Again the Impact World Championship would face many of the same problems that the Knockouts World Championship had with different designs not sticking and the entire Global Force Wrestling fiasco. The Impact World Championship would also unify with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship when that was brought back for a short while.
The design consists of a more traditional shape plate made of gold with the Impact Wrestling logo with a similar red painting behind it, and an owl sitting above the logo representing Impact's parent company Anthem Sports & Entertainment. The side plates are a more squared/rounded shape with different perspectives of the Earth with red painting as well.
16 IWGP World Heavyweight Championship
One of the more controversial belts around currently, the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship would be revealed after Kota Ibushi won both the IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental Championships at Wrestle Kingdom 15.
The design itself has some very interesting ideas with multiple parts of the title representing older designs of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Many fans have sadly seen it as a downgrade from the previous version and even a downgrade from the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
15 AAA Reina De Reinas Championship
Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide would create the Reina de Reinas Championship in February 1999 with the first champion Xochitl Hamada being crowned after a four-way match. The name translates to "AAA Queen of Queens Championship" and is the only women's belt in AAA.
The design features a silver middle plate that almost resembles a shield adorned with a crown over a red circle and pink ribbons featuring the words "REINA DE REINAS LUCHA LIBRE MEXICO" on them. The side plates feature a pink plate with silver outlines, a crown, and the US and Mexico flags.
14 NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship
Easily one of the most historic championships in the history of professional wrestling. The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship has featured the same iconic design for decades and has been held by some of the most legendary names in wrestling like Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, and Harley Race.
The 10 pounds of gold features a smaller shape than many other world championships with a more rectangular middle plate and two square side plates on each side. The middle plate has the US flag and a silver globe with the letters NWA while the side plates feature the Mexican, Japanese, Australian, and Canadian flags.
13 Ring Of Honor World Championship
After All Elite Wrestling owner Tony Khan would purchase the Ring of Honor in 2022, every championship would soon start to see a redesign. The ROH World Championship would revert to its original design from 2002 after Jonathan Gresham started appearing with the design in 2022.
The current design features a more rounded middle plate that curves inwards on the sides equipped with the ROH logo and two ribbons with the words "World Wrestling Champion" around the middle. The side plates are circular featuring two wrestlers performing a piledriver and the second set of plates featuring two wrestlers grappling each other.
12 CMLL World Heavyweight Championship
The CMLL World Heavyweight Championship was established in 1991 as a way to signal CMLL branching away from NWA. The first champion would be Konnan El Barbaro after he defeated Cien Caras in the finals of a tournament to crown the inaugural champion.

For many WWE fans, the main middle plate might look a lot like the WWE Intercontinental Championship with the layered plates getting smaller as they move to the side. The ribbons in the middle feature CMLL's full title and Campeon Mundial Completo underneath a blue globe with red text spelling CMLL. The side plates feature the Japanese, US, Mexican, and Argentinian flags.
11 Women's World Championship
After Roman Reigns captured both the WWE and Universal Championships, WWE decided to create a new belt to represent whichever brand did not get Reigns in the 2023 Brand Split. Raw would end up with the new belt and to keep the brands similar, SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley would move to Raw and be presented with the new Women's World Championship.
The design features a roundish middle plate somewhat similar to the original World Heavyweight Championship but now with a black globe behind a silver WWE logo. Also, to match the WWE Women's Title and previous women's title designs, this belt features a white strap.
10 World Heavyweight Championship
Triple H would come out on Raw and announce the 2023 Brand Split as well as the new World Heavyweight Championship that would represent whatever show Roman Reigns did not appear on. Seth Rollins would win a tournament culminating at Night of Champions in a match against AJ Styles to capture the belt.
The belt is one hundred percent identical to the Women's World Championship but instead uses a black strap. The side plates are just like any other WWE title with a removable logo that is used as a nameplate for the current champion.
9 NWA World Women's Championship
The NWA Women's World Championship history started confusingly when Mildred Burke beat Clara Mortensen for the title in 1937 but wasn't recognized as the inaugural champion until 1950.
The belt's design is a classy-looking silver plate covered with red gems and instead of a nameplate for the champion, the belt has a picture of the champion's face in the middle. The side plates are a simple oval with the NWA logo on them, all of this resting on a clean white strap.
8 AAA Mega Championship
Much like other championships in Mexican wrestling promotions, the AAA Mega Championship was established during a single elimination tournament called the "Torneo Campeon de Campeones" in 2007 with El Mesias coming out the victor.
The belt is a very stylish octagon with the AAA logo on top and an Aztec-style design in the middle surrounded by red gems. The side plates are a similar octagon shape with the red gems surrounding them featuring different designs.
7 Ring Of Honor Women's World Championship
The Ring of Honor Women's World Championship would also see a redesign at Supercard of Honor 2023 after Tony Khan's purchase of Ring of Honor. The belt would keep the same design primarily just with a few tweaks added.
The plating is now changed from gold to silver keeping the red gems around all the plates. The logo would also change from the old Ring of Honor logo to the newer updated one.
6 AEW Women's World Championship
The AEW Women's Championship would see a few different design changes in its short history. Starting as a much smaller oval-shaped belt with six side plates around it to the more current larger rectangular design.

The main plate is a large rectangle with the AEW logo and two ribbons saying "Women's World Wrestling Champion" above and below a black-colored globe. The side plates are another rectangular shape with black globes and wrestlers sparring.
5 AEW World Championship
All Elite Wrestling's most prestigious title ranks highly among fans for its unique design and a fan favorite dual metal plating. The title would debut on May 25th, 2019 with Chris Jericho winning the title from Adam Page that August during All Out 2019. The belt would receive a custom design from MJF when he came champion.
The belt has a massive middle plate featuring the AEW logo and two plates stating the words "World Champion" above and below the logo. The side plates feature a shape that is meant to look like they fit perfectly into the middle plate featuring two globes and the AEW logo in between them. The final side plates just feature the AEW logo.
4 Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship
All Japan Pro Wrestling would utilize the idea of the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship as three separate championships that a wrestler would hold. The three belts were represented by the NWA International Heavyweight, PWF Heavyweight, and NWA United National Championships.
The belts would be given to All Japan founder Giant Baba's wife in 2013 and AJPW would create a brand new single title. The main plate is modeled after the PWF Heavyweight title, and the two side plates are replicas of the NWA International and United National Championships.
3 World Of Stardom Championship
All female Japanese wrestling promotion, World Wonder Ring Stardom, features a similar style for most of their belts being shaped like a star after the promotion's name. The World of Stardom Championship would receive a redesign in 2020 to clean up the belt a little bit and give it more detailing.
The current design keeps the original red strap and multiple-star design but now with the updated logo on the main plate, a crown at the peak, and four side plates featuring different designs on each. The side plates feature a blue globe, the Stardom logo, and the phrase "Believe Now And Shine Tomorrow".
2 GHC Heavyweight Championship
Pro Wrestling Noah would feature the governing body for their championships, Global Honored Crown. A redesign of the title would happen in 2019 with the new version debuting for the Ryogoku Kokugikan event that year.
The middle plate is a much larger and less circular shape than the previous belt and gets rid of the wings that stuck out above the plate. The side plates would also change shape but feature a very similar design on them from the previous version.
