There is rarely anyone in the wrestling industry who does not know who Rey Mysterio is. The Superstar has worked pro-wrestlers at various levels on the roster, and currently, he is feuding with champions such as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

However, Mysterio is one such Superstar who has involved his entire family in a storyline. This is where the WWE Universe started taking an active interest in who the other members of the Mysterio family were.

First, there is Dominik Mysterio

He is the son, the protege. Dominik Mysterio had clarified he would follow in his father’s footsteps, and as too. In fact, Dominik and Rey Mysterio made history together when they became the first father-son WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

Dominik was born on April 5th, 1997, and made his WWE debut on August 23rd, 2020. He is a third generation wrestler following his father and great uncle. However, Dominik has been making WWE appearances from a young age of six.

He was a part of a storyline where Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero were battling over his custody. Guerrero claimed he was Dominik’s biological father, while Rey wasn’t letting his son go. The duo battled at SummerSlam where Mysterio defeated Guerrero.

Since then, he has grown into a full-time wrestler who is winning championships alongside his father.

Next, Rey Mysterio’s wife, Angie Gutierrez

She came under the limelight after marrying the Superstar. Angie made several appearances with her son and daughter to watch her husband’s matches from ringside.

Angie Gutierrez’s last appearance at WWE was during The Mysterio Family’s feud with Buddy Murphy and Seth Rollins. She made frequent appearances with her family to cut segments involving the others.

Apart from that, she is a devoted mother and wife, and often gives the fans glimpses of her beautiful family life on social media.

Finally, Aalyah Mysterio

Rey Mysterio’s daughter, Aalyah Mysterio, has made several appearances ringside from a young age. Her last appearance was during the family’s feud with Murphy and Rollins, where WWE booked her in a romantic angle with Murphy. This storyline received much backlash from the audience because of the age difference between Murphy and Aalyah.

She hasn’t confirmed if she wants to join WWE or take up wrestling as a profession. Her father has revealed he will train her if she wants to become a wrestler, but she will need to complete her studies prior to that.
