Former WWE Referee Mike Chioda Says The Rock & Triple H Did Not See Eye To Eye Very Often
David Mccullough Former WWE referee Mike Chioda has made claims of The Rock and Triple H hardly seeing eye to eye during their time as WWE wrestlers.
The two were the biggest names in wrestling at one point and their rivalry was not limited to television. Earlier this year, Bret Hart accused HHH and Shawn Michaels of bullying The Rock during his early days on the roster and The Great One has since confirmed there was opposition to his growth as a wrestler back then, although he stopped short of mentioning names.

According to Chioda, The Rock and Triple H did not have a very good relationship and disagreed over most things.
“I don’t think it was that good back then," he said on Mailbag Monday with Mike Chioda this week. "Back then it was more battling for position, not as far as in the company, but as a professional wrestler. They didn’t see eye to eye too many times, that’s for sure.”
The Rock has since gone on to become arguably the biggest name in Hollywood while HHH has taken up an administrative role with WWE. They've put the bad blood behind them and the video below supports the notion.
WWE teased a match between them a few years ago but nothing came out of that. The Rock, though, could return for a match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37 but it's since been reported that he could make that appearance at 2022's Show of Shows instead.
Fingers Crossed On That One
Time will tell what happens with the Roman angle. As for a match against Triple H, it's unlikely that ever happens, though one can never tell.
Triple H gets involved in matches from time to time and had a great showdown with Batista at last year's WrestleMania. The Rock, on the other hand, leaves his appearances few and far between. His last came during SmackDown's FOX debut late last year but there was no match to accentuate his showing up, although he did get a bit physical with Baron Corbyn.
