Rumors about the love and dating life of John Cena have always been rife. Over the past decades, The Prototype has been linked with several girls. Furthermore, he has dated Nikki Bella, Victoria, and Mickie James in the past.

What’s more, John Cena had also gotten engaged to Total Divas star Nikki Bella. Currently, John Cena is married to Shay Shariatzadeh. They began dating in 2019 and tied the knot the next year. 

Additionally, John Cena has been paired with one more wrestler. He was rumored of being in a relationship with Carmella. It was also suggested that the two were spotted together. Following this, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion broke her silence.

In 2019, she took to The Bellas Podcast and revealed the true events that unfolded. Carmella’s twin sister Brie is the co-host of this podcast. Therefore, in no time, the latter asked Carmella about the truth.

What does Carmella have to say about John Cena?

Obviously, Carmella was enraged when she heard of these rumors. She spoke candidly on the podcast about these false accusations. Furthermore, she went on to suggest that the accusations were insane.

“Oh my God. That is the most insane rumor because at the time that was when I broke up with my ex. And because John [Cena] lives in Tampa, I lived in Tampa. Apparently he was seen out at a bar or something, so people just assumed, ‘Oh Carmella lives in Tampa. She must have been at that same bar.’ It was so insane. I don’t know how you did it for so long. Where do they come up with this sh*t?” Carmella revealed.

The wrestler suggests that the rumors are purely coincidental. Thus, she believes that these talks only began because of Cena and her being in the same place. The Women’s Champion was firm about her answers on the podcast. Carmella, too, is now married to Corey Graves, who is a WWE commentator.

Accusations about being a homewrecker

Additionally, things were murky when Carmella began dating Graves, too. Rumor was that Graves was still married to his ex-wife at the time. Subsequently, Carmella was accused of being a home wrecker.

Carmella addressed this too, stating that she would never do something like this.

“Let me just say that I would never wreck someone’s home. That is not the life I’m about. Never in a million years would I do that. I don’t care how hot the guy or how in love I think I am, that absolutely did not happen. I did not wreck a home.”
