The Fortnitemares event is now live and in this challenge, you're on the hunt for some Halloween Candy.

The residents of the Fortnite map have adopted a socially distanced method of distributing their Halloween Candy this year by placing it in pumpkins and buckets outside of their homes.

As part of the Fortnitemares challenges, you'll need to eat 25 Candy to earn a spooky reward.

You don't need to do this in a single match, but most pumpkins and buckets shell out two to four pieces of Candy at a time, so depending on where you are, you might complete the challenge quite quickly.

Fortnitemares: Where to find Candy

Candy buckets and pumpkins can be found all over the Fortnite map, but your best bet is to visit named locations, especially if there are residential homes nearby.

If you land at Holly Hedges, for example, you'll see that the homes are all decorated with pumpkins, projectors, cobwebs and spiders and usually have at least one Candy bucket outside their front doors.

To get Candy, hit the bucket with your pickaxe or fire at it with your weapon. Then, pick the Candy up and eat it.

You'll regain health and shields by doing so, but there's no shame in just gorging on some digital sweeties if you wish. Some of the Candy can't be consumed if you have 100 health or shield, so try and get some mild fall damage so you can eat more.
