ARK Survival Ascended's Winter Wonderland event introduces a new Krampus skin, only, nobody can work out how to get it.

As we usher in the first Winter Wonderland event for ARK Survival Ascended, a frosty atmosphere permeates the air. True to tradition, the event brings an abundance of new festive-themed delights for players to savor. Among these is supposedly a fresh Krampus skin, however, it's proving quite elusive for ARK Survival Ascened players, so in this guide, we are going to show you exactly how to get your hands on this new Krampus skin in ARK Survival Ascended.

How To Do You Get the Krampus Skin in ARK Winter Wonderland

The Krampus skin is obtained via a random drop chance from Raptor Claus, who appears every night throughout the Winter Wonderland Event. However, to get it to drop successfully, you need to meet a few prerequisites first, which can be summarized as crafting a letter to Raptor Claus, getting your naughty or nice status to be very naughty, and finally ensuring that you're in bed before Raptor Claus shows up.

To begin the process, players must first interact with the fireplace, providing the opportunity to craft various letters to Raptor Claus, expressing their Christmas wishes. Once a letter is crafted, Raptor Claus begins monitoring the player, and to acquire the Krampus skin, it is necessary to decrease the "nice meter" to a "very naughty" status.

The most effective method involves eliminating baby dinos, though they may be challenging to locate. Alternatively, players can summon a passive dino like a Bronto and utilize the "SetBabyAge .01" command, transforming the large Bronto into a baby and swiftly escalating the naughty status.

By repeating this process, the player eventually attains a full naughty bar. For more details on the "naughty or nice" mechanic, refer to our guide here. Once the character is fully naughty, await the arrival of Raptor Claus at midnight (00:00).

Ensure you are in bed before Raptor Claus spawns, and once he does, patiently wait for five minutes (until 00:05) as gifts materialize around your bed. There is an element of randomness to the process that both myself and other ARK players getting the skin have struggled with, given that Raptor Claus occasionally drops useful items and other times mere junk, given the player's naughty status.

Despite the potential tediousness, persist in the process until Raptor Claus eventually bestows the Krampus skin. To expedite the endeavor, consider spawning as many Brontos as necessary, as the entire process needs to be repeated each time. Stay determined, and soon enough, you'll acquire the skin to unleash festive havoc on your fellow players in ARK Survival Evolved's Winter Wonderland Event.
