John Abraham to star in the Hindi remake of Vedalam

It’s the reign of remakes and looks like John Abrahm too has joined the brigade in 2020. According to reports, John Abraham will star in the remake of the 2015 hit film, Vedalam, starring Thala Ajith, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon and Rahul Dev. John Abraham will be seen in the lead role in this action-packed film and will start shooting for it soon. Reports say that though the female actors are not finalised the makers are looking out for strong performers to play the leading parts. As per reports, “The team will go on recce in a couple of months. The idea is to shoot on real locations to capture the local flavour. A small portion will be canned outside the city as well.” Bhushan Kumar will produce the film.
This year, there are a series of remakes waiting to release on the big screen. After the success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor will be seen in the remake of Jersey. Akshay Kumar will star in Laxxmi Bomb, which releases this Eid. And now John Abraham is all set to step into Thala Ajith’s shoes and make 2020 one action-packed year for Bollywood lovers.
