Macaulay Culkin And Freddie Prinze Jr. Slam WWE For Repetitive Booking
Ava Bailey Two of the world's most recognizable Hollywood stars have shared their thoughts on the current state of WWE ... and they weren't entirely positive. Or even remotely positive, in fact. Celebrity wrestling fans -- they're just like us! (Non-celebrity wrestling fans).
The celebs in question are Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, and Freddie Prinze Jr. (Fred out of Scooby-Doo), who met up for a chat which was recorded and uploaded as the latest installment of Freddie's Wrestling With Freddie podcast.
"If I have to see one more fucking, don't get me wrong, I'm actually looking forward to what will be different this time, but if I have to see Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns one more frickin time," Culkin said in response to a comment from Freddie in which the host pointed out that the current WWE product is very repetitive. "That's the thing, they'll do the same pay-per-view back to back. It's always New Day/Usos every fricken card," Culkin continued.

"I understand that their roster isn't as deep as it was a year ago. They've cut like 86 wrestlers in the past calendar year. You don't really have this rich variety that you might have had before. Even then, how many times can we watch the same match over and over? Recently, it was Survivor Series and the two before that were virtually the same card. What the fuck is going on?" he wondered.
Both Freddie Prinze Jr. and Macaulay Culkin are unapologetic wrestling fans who regularly attend live events. Freddie even had two spells as a WWE employee, first in 2008 when he served on SmackDown's creative team, and between 2010-2012 he worked as a producer and director.
On the aforementioned Wrestling With Freddie episode, Culkin revealed that he had done some light consultation work for WWE and pitched a few ideas for Bray Wyatt's characters.
