Fans of Netflix’s Indian Matchmaking saw Pradhyuman Maloo for the first time on season 1. However, he didn’t click with any of the Sima Taparia’s matches, as he was either unimpressed by their beauty or didn’t find them impressive. He agreed to meet an interior designer named Sneha Totla but he discovered that he didn’t see any future with the girl, Sima Aunty asked him to see a life coach for guidance.

Pradhyuman gradually realized he needed to do a lot better on a core, personal level, and that’s precisely what he tried when Delhi-based fashion model Rushali Rai stepped into the picture. Their time in the installment thus ended on quite a positive note, yet owing to them being on different pages as well as the long distance, per his accounts, they didn’t work out romantically either.

After rejecting nearly 150 women, Pradhyuman finally seems to have finally met “the one” named Ashima Chauhan. According to the show, he met her at a party. They have been dating each other for several months.

On that positively fateful night, the two started joking together right away, which led to them talking and developing an indisputably strong bond, leading Pradhyuman to believe “it was destiny.” He fell in love with her for many reasons, including her liveliness, her brilliant smile, and her outgoing nature, and after she had met his friends and family, he proposed to her on one knee.

The most endearing thing about Pradhyuman, though, is that one of his acquaintances said they had “never seen him so dedicated and committed to a lady,” indicating that he was actually prepared to offer Ashima everything. Additionally, Sima aunty also shared her thoughts about the pair and named Pradhyuman and Ashima as a “promising couple” and a “perfect match”.

Ashima, a talented writer, singer, and dancer, was introduced to Pradhyuman’s acquaintances at his new Mumbai restaurant, where their courtship swiftly developed. By the end of the episode, Pradhyuman proposed to Ashima, on a champagne-filled beach, saying that she knew him better than anyone. After a flurry of wedding preparation, viewers finally got to witness Pradhyuman and Ashima be magnificent in a magnificent Udaipur ceremony.

The pair have also shared glimpses of their relationship on their social media posts. In August 2021, Ashima and Pradhyuman celebrated their first dating anniversary. Pradhyuman wrote, “May you always be the one who notices the little pours through, reminding me within the chaos there’s more to life and more to you. A year and many more to go #12-07-2020/21”.

They also went on a trip together to the Maldives while captioning, “You are my love story, and I choose to love you forever.”

Pradhyuman described that they were addressed as Mr. and Mrs. Maloo at his Ekaa restaurant as early as December 2021. He stated, “It was a moment when our eyes met each other and we smiled”. Ashima revealed that she had married her best friend in the caption of an Instagram picture from March 2022.

Pradhyuman Maloo is the son of Chand Ratan Maloo and Sushma Maloo.

Chand is a graduate of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. The CompanyCheck.com shared that he served as the director at Global Power Company Limited. He also served as the director of Maloo Lifestyle Private Limited.

According to the website, Chand previously worked at Glimps Buildcon Private Limited and Janpragati Infrabuild Private Limited.

Meanwhile, Sushma attended Hindi Vidya Bhavan and the University of Mumbai. Sushma is a jewelry entrepreneur who established the jewelry brand Normament in 1998. Calling jewelry a “unique gift of love that travels over time and generations”, Maloo said. She told that she has an eye for picking out good pieces and had an affinity for jewelry designing.

“Back in the day, when I was a housewife, I used to receive a monthly stipend from my husband to run the house. I don’t remember the exact details but we got into an argument over 2,000 rupees, and I remember it was at that moment that I decided to start earning for myself. As I was determined to start my own business, I managed to save Rs 50,000 and start Nornament,” she told IANSlife in an interview.

Normament became a family business with her son joining the business and her daughter who is a designer at Normament. Pradhyuman’s sister is Khush Maloo Jaju. Her husband is Yogesh Jaju. She attended Gopi Birla Memorial School and Jai Hind College.
