Natalie Portman's timeless Cannes Film Festival wardrobe
Jessica Wilkins For her first red-carpet appearance of the 2023 festival – at The Zone Of Interest premiere – the actress opted for some sparkle in the form of this archival Dior dress from the autumn/winter 2017 collection, which featured a beautiful blue ombré effect and twinkling sequins.
She added some matching deep blue jewellery from the Chopard Red Carpet collection, in the form of a dazzling necklace and cocktail ring.
Natalie Portman never sets a fashion foot wrong on the red carpet, but her off-duty style is also worth noting. Pictured walking through the Hotel Martinez, the actress looked effortless in a black trouser suit and oversized sunglasses.

For the May December photocall, the actress opted for some one-tone dressing (one of the easiest ways to look polished and put-together), in a red Dior mini dress and jacket, with matching strappy sandals by Jimmy Choo.
She finished the look with her favourite cat-eye sunglasses – a must for any appearance on the Croisette.
For her second big premiere appearance, Portman walked the iconic red Cannes steps wearing a custom Dior couture gown. The dress, with its delicate scalloped skirt, was a reimagined version of the 'Junon' evening gown, originally created by Christian Dior himself in 1949.

She paired her gown with some classic diamond droplet earrings by Chopard, with her hair in a sleek ballerina bun.
The actress changed into a black Dior dress with a mesh bodice and sheer, textured skirt, to attend the May December after-party.
During her time in Cannes, Portman hosted a dinner on behalf of Chopard, matching the lilac floral table setting with her ruched off-the shoulder dress by Celine. She kept warm by draping a slick black tuxedo jacket over her shoulders, also by Celine.
