The Sussexes are getting into the holiday spirit.

Today, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan released their 2023 Christmas card, which features a photo of the couple laughing and clapping at the closing ceremony of the 2023 Invictus Games.

For the event, Meghan looked sophisticated in an elegant column gown from Cult Gaia, which featured turquoise floral cutout details throughout. Harry looked equally stylish in a tailored dark blue suit paired with a black button-down.

“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season,” the message on the forest green card reads. It concludes, “Thanks for all the support in 2023!”

The card includes a link to Archewell’s 2023 Impact Report, which reviews the various causes the organization has supported over the past year. This includes an inside look at the Welcome Project, a new initiative launched in 2023 that builds community programming for “recently resettled Afghan women.”

The report also further dissects the couple’s work in the realm of mental health, digital safety, and ethical journalism.

Last year’s holiday card featured a solo shot of the couple from their December 2022 appearance at the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Awards Gala in New York City. The black-and-white portrait accompanied a message that read, “Wishing you a joyful holiday season. From our family to yours, on behalf of our teams at the Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio, and Archewell Productions, we wish you health, peace, and a very happy new year!”

In the past, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also used the holiday season to shed light on causes close to their heart.

For their 2021 Christmas card, Harry and Meghan teamed up with Team Rubicon, a nongovernment organization that supports international disaster relief, to make a charitable donation. “As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families—from those being relocated from Afghanistan, to American families in need of paid parental leave,” the message on the card read at the time.

Prior to that, the couple released their 2020 Christmas card in conjunction with Mayhew, a U.K.-based animal welfare charity that Meghan is patron of. At the time, they made a personal donation to Mayhew as well as a few other charities. As Meghan explained, “This year we, as a family, have made donations to several charities with you in mind. From a local California organisation that helps families transition out of homelessness, to two of our U.K. patronages: one that supports animal and community welfare, and the other, a memorial fund for a cherished friend that helps to educate children and fight poverty in Uganda, we have honoured their work on behalf of all of us.”
