Rikishi May Have Just Revealed He'll Be Part Of A Bloodline Match At WWE Payback
Matthew Perez This week's chaotic end to SmackDown built on the shocking turn on his brother by Jimmy Uso at SummerSlam, but also managed to make everything involving The Bloodline even messier in the process. Jimmy told Roman Reigns he isn't back in, but he did what he did to Jey through fear that he could let The Tribal Chief role poison him as it has Reigns should he attain it. Jey wasn't happy with that explanation, dropping everyone, including his brother, with superkicks.
What's Planned For Payback?
Before the show went off the air, Jey looked down the camera and not only reiterated that he's out of The Bloodline, but he's quitting WWE. However, before that explosive segment, a member of the extended Bloodline may have hinted at one of the next chapter's in this long-running story. That there will be a match at Payback, WWE's next premium live event, pitting Bloodline members against one another.

The family member who has potentially given the game away is The Usos' Hall of Fame dad, Rikishi. Rikishi shared a poster revealing he'll be in attendance at a signing very soon. Attending signings all the time, that's not what grabbed fans' attention. It was the "Come meet Rikishi before he referees at Payback" note on that poster that sent social media into a tailspin. An hour later, Rikishi deleted the post and replaced it with one where the comment had been removed.
"Wrong Promoter Mistake"
Rikishi clearly hoped that would be that and he had gotten away with it, but unfortunately not. A fan reposted the original poster to which Rikishi replied "Wrong promoter mistake". That presumably means the promoter of the signing was at fault for including that comment on the poster, which wasn't really in any doubt. What Rikishi hasn't cleared up is whether the promoter was mistaken and he won't be refereeing at Payback, or if the mistake was revealing that info when it hasn't been officially announced by WWE yet.
Getting Rikishi involved in The Bloodline's antics would be a terrific idea for a couple of reasons. For starters, WWE claimed interference was prohibited in Tribal Combat, so one of the elders stepping in to make sure the rules are obeyed in the next Bloodline match would neatly make up for that mistake. It also seems likely the Payback match in question will be Jimmy vs. Jey, and who better to call it down the middle than the twins' own father?
