The singer was spotted grabbing dinner in Manhattan with friend actor Miles Teller and his wife, actor Keleigh Sperry. For the occasion, Swift pulled out a glossy beige faux leather trench coat, which she cinched at the waist with the built-in belt. She layered the trench over a black top, a matching skirt, and sheer black fishnet tights. She added some edge with her footwear—chunky black leather platform boots embellished with a gold chain link at the front, by Stella McCartney—and carried a black leather handbag.

Swift matched the gold in her shoes with some gold chain necklaces, gold earrings, and shimmery golden eye shadow. She added her signature black liner to her lids and had her hair up in a bun, flirty strands framing her face.

The look was a diversion from the “Karma” singer’s usual preppy style, which often involves pleated skirts, frilly tops, and patterned dresses.

The superstar’s outing in New York comes just days after she was spotted in Kansas City, Missouri, where she supported her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, attending his game against the Buffalo Bills. She also wore a black outfit then, composed of a shimmery, plunging top, a leather miniskirt, sheer black tights, and thigh-high stiletto boots by Larroudé; she later kept warm with a long black coat.
