The first teaser trailer of David Fincher’s highly-anticipated neo-noir film The Killer is out. The thriller film features Michael Fassbender as a cold-blooded assassin. And it looks like The Zodiac and Gone Girl director is going all out.

The teaser trailer of The Killer sees Fassbender as a cold-blooded killer who is hyper-focused on his targets. As we see him in action, the voice-over goes, “stick to the plan, trust no one.” However, he seems to be cracking under pressure.

The Killer seems to have all the hallmarks of a classic David Fincher flick. The director had reportedly shown interest in making the film since 2007.
The film is an adaptation of Alexis Nolent’s French graphic novel series with a script penned by Seven writer Andrew Kevin Walker. David Fincher’s last film was Mank. The Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried and Tom Burke starrer earned two Academy Award wins. Meanwhile, Michael Fassbender was last seen in the 2019 film X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The film wasn’t well-received at the box office.
The Killer which also features Tilda Swinton, Sophie Charlotte and others is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival. It will arrive on OTT on November 10.
