The difference in styles is something that makes each group unique and helps to create gripping factions that wrestling fans can latch onto and enjoy.

There is always a close bond between those within a wrestling faction due to the amount of time they spend together both in and out of the ring. When there is a great connection, it comes across, but some factions have gone one step further and truly presented themselves as a family.
9 The Way
The Way have become one of the top factions in modern wrestling over the last year or so. They bring a great blend of complete comedy while also being able to back it up inside the ring which allows fans to take them seriously at the same time.
Seeing Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae act as genuine parents to Indi Hartwell and Austin Theory is something that has just worked. The fact they're a real-life couple has helped, while the childish antics of Theory and Hartwell loving Dexter Lumis has led to some very entertaining moments.
8 The Wyatt Family
The clue is in the name of this group, and The Wyatt Family were a close group that was presented as a family. It's something that helped to make them such a fantastic faction as fans were able to truly sink their teeth into what they did.
Bray Wyatt was the true leader and everyone else followed him, but they gave everything for the head of the family. It's something that worked well and the brotherhood they formed was real, which fans could feel.
7 Straight Edge Society
The Straight Edge Society was another faction with a clear leader in CM Punk, but one that also had a family feel. Punk acted like a father to his disciples, making it clear he had saved them all.

The rest of the members all truly acted like siblings as they did everything together and for each other. It's one of the reasons that the faction worked so perfectly, as they shared a unique bond that was different from any other faction.
6 The Dudley Family
Fake wrestling families is something that has been happening for a long time, and the Dudley Family is a great example of that. ECW put the group together with various wrestlers, all of whom had major personalities.
They were presented as a legitimate family, which allowed fans to buy into the madness. Of course, that wasn't really the case, but this faction did help create one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
5 The Heenan Family
The Heenan Family had plenty of members over the years, but Bobby Heenan always managed to make his stable feel like a genuine family. He pushed that idea whenever he cut promos and he made people think that was the case.

The wrestlers he brought in always worked together and helped each other, which really did push the idea that they were great family members who cared about what they did, which worked fantastically.
4 The Dark Order
AEW has been heavy with creating wrestling factions since its inception, and The Dark Order is one of the most popular. One of the big reasons for that is the cult mentality and closeness that the members have shared.
They started out dark and ominous, but since then they've grown real personalities and that has helped showcase their bond even more. They act as a genuine family and the comedic nature of what they have done has worked perfectly.
3 The Bullet Club
The Bullet Club created a different type of family bond and it is one that was very cool. They formed a real brotherhood that was unlike anything the wrestling industry had seen before, as they truly did everything together.

Both in and out of the ring, they created a unit that was easy to love, with their hard work being something fans appreciated. Their ability to look out for each other and the chemistry they had was wonderful.
2 Raven's Nest
Raven's Nest (or Raven's Flock) was a brilliant faction and another that was built with a true family vibe. Everything the members did was with Raven in mind, with the wrestlers helping to put together great work for their leader.
The closeness of the faction helped to make it a group that people had to be interested in because of how they pushed each other, and did everything that they needed as a true family.
1 La Familia
La Familia was a dominant faction on SmackDown and remains one of the best periods of Edge's career. This group came together when he was the top heel on the blue brand with Vickie Guerrero as his partner.
She brought together a great group featuring the likes of Chavo Guerrero and the Edgeheads. While some were legitimate family members, others were not, yet they all came together and acted as one, and that helped to make them so convincing.
