9 Debuting With Bodydonnas
WWE signing Sunny after her time on the independent circuit led to her working with real-life love interest Chris Candido and veteran Tom Prichard. The duo played Skip and Kip of The Bodydonnas heel tag team with Sunny as their manager.

It was a cheap heat gimmick of the trio mocking the audience for their weight. The gimmick of being into fitness and having weight loss techniques didn’t have much value long-term. Sunny still broke out as a star here leading them to the WWE Tag Team Championship.
8 The Smoking Gunns
One of the bigger elements of Sunny’s career in the early stages of WWE was her involvement in the tag team division. Sunny eventually ditched The Bodydonnas tag team to become the manager of Bart and Billy Gunn as the Smoking Gunns.
The new act saw Sunny dressing like a cowgirl to match the cowboy brothers as part of their gimmick. Sunny once again was the highlight of a team and didn’t spend too long with them before looking for other talents.
7 Romance Storylines
WWE pushing Sunny as arguably the biggest female star in company history after her success led to newer storylines for the time. A rare romantic angle featured Sunny using her looks to manipulate Phineas Godwinn of the Godwinn Brothers for months.
Sunny helped The Smoking Gunns and Bodydonnas both score victories over the Godwinns when she was their manager. The angle ended when Phineas finally snapped out of it and dumped the bucket of slop that he always carried on Sunny to a huge ovation from the audience.
6 Failed Run With Ron Simmons
WWE signing Ron Simmons felt like a big deal since he was one of the first former WCW Champions to jump ship in the New Generation Era. Simmons unfortunately got stuck with a ridiculous gladiator gimmick in baby blue colors.
However, Sunny becoming his manager showed that WWE wanted it to work due to her popularity. The chemistry wasn’t there, and Simmons couldn’t get his gimmick across. WWE splitting them up helped Simmons more to become leader of the Nation of Domination faction for a better character.
5 Becoming Mainstream Star
The popularity of Sunny grew to saw her becoming a major asset for WWE moving forward. Sunny even passed mainstream celebrity Pamela Anderson to become the “most downloaded” woman in the early stages of the internet.

WWE struggled to find the right managerial role for Sunny and had her commentating, broadcasting, hosting, and taking part in photo shoots. The various magazine shoots helped WWE sell copies to make money at a time when they were struggling on the business side.
4 LOD 2000
One of the final ideas for Sunny during her WWE career came when the Legion of Doom needed a rebranding. WWE saw Animal and Hawk growing a little stale when having them add Sunny to form LOD 2000 as a new act.
The trio received a huge ovation as a surprise at WrestleMania 14 to win the opening match tag team battle royal.
Unfortunately, it was another poor fit for both sides as none of them had much longer left in WWE. Sunny failed to help get the legendary tag team back to their previous status, despite the audience showing love at the start.
3 ECW Reunion With Chris Candido
The end Sunny’s time in WWE led to her getting to work with boyfriend Chris Candido again. Paul Heyman added Candido to the roster and wanted Sunny when she was available as one of the biggest names to work for ECW.
Candido joining the great Triple Threat faction with Bam Bam Bigelow and Shane Douglas led to Sunny becoming a manager with Francine. The work of Candido and Sunny saw some of their best times together in wrestling getting spotlighted in ECW.
2 Forgotten WCW Run
The era of Vince Russo running WCW led to many former WWE names getting a chance in the rebuilding promotion. Sunny worked under her real name of Tammy Sytch to once again manage Chris Candido as members of the New Blood faction.
Sytch did not enjoy her time in WCW and hated having to compete in matches since she was a non-wrestler. The run ended in controversial fashion when Kimberly Page claimed Tammy was bringing drugs into the women’s locker room to cause a rather fast firing.
1 Hall Of Fame
Sunny was out of the spotlight for many years after leaving WWE and having the other runs in ECW and WCW end quickly. Various independent promotions and even a few Ring of Honor shows kept her somewhat involved until WWE called back for a big honor.
WWE inducted Sunny into the 2011 Hall of Fame class as just the fourth woman to ever get that accolade. Sunny had a solid speech that honored her career for another great moment in the spotlight, before the next decade of negative headlines followed her.
