Olivia Owen Patrick Mahomes really turned heads this year. Not just on the field hogging that coveted Super Bowl, the QB also caught eyes off the field. He grabbed attention for his first high-profile red carpet look at the Met Gala alongside his wife Brittany Mahomes in May. The same week the duo stole the show when they appeared on the red carpet at the Kentucky Derby. He also scored for his looks last week at the ESPY Awards night on the red carpet.
The QB got a dedicated team behind him to amp up his swag and also his very personal stylist his wife Brittany Mahomes, who gets to have the final say. Mahomes is all up for stepping up his style as he is seriously mulling a major style shake-up.
A change in the cards for Mahomes
Mahomes feels that his locks are in dire need of a makeover. The Super Bowl champion revealed that he is thinking about switching up his iconic Mohawk fade hairstyle in the latest Netflix series Quarterback. The conversation went down between him and his personal trainer Bobby Stroupe after a workout session. When the segment opens, Mahomes is seen having a struggle with his velcro while trying to remove his headband. An annoyed Mahomes says “This is my last year with the hair…Hair’s gone next year,”.
He adds. “Going with different hair next year.”
Mahomes reveals that he does not have a particular look in mind while revealing the reasoning behind his call, I can’t have two kids and a mohawk,”.
“Why not?” Stroupe asks. To which Mahomes replies, “Cause I got to be a dad at some point,”
“Imagine me 40 years old with this haircut. I mean, come on,” Mahomes says as the segment ends.

Apparently, it’s not a spur-of-the-moment decision as the Super Bowl champion has been considering changing his iconic style for a while now.
Is Mahomes about to rock a new look?
Earlier this year Mahomes had hinted about a potential makeover.“I have been thinking about switching my hair up. So this offseason, I’m thinking about doing a little change to the hairstyle”. But the NFL star needs to seek suggestions from two authorities. “I’ll let (my wife) Brittany and my family know and then I’ll let Head & Shoulders know,” Mahomes said. “I’m sure they’ll have something to say about it as well.”
If Brittany and the shampoo brand for which he is an ambassador, give their blessings, the Super Bowl champion might sport a new look in the upcoming season.
