Titus O'Neil Teases Role In A Marvel Movie
Mia Walsh A recent Twitter post from Titus O'Neil suggests that the WWE Superstar is currently losing weight to prepare for a movie role.
Marvel movies are taking over Hollywood right now. From Ironman to the recently released Avengers: Infinity War, there have been an incredible nineteen movies, and that only includes the ones that are linked together as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Beyond that, there are even more, such as the X-Men movies, Fantastic Four, and the very popular Deadpool.
Even WWE has a vested interest in the current success of Infinity War. That's because former Superstar Batista is in the movie. The six-time World Champion plays Drax The Destroyer, a Guardian Of The Galaxy, and his appearance in the latest chapter of the MCU marks his third outing as the character. The Rock will also make his foray into the superhero world soon as Black Adam, the supervillain in the next Suicide Squad movie.

Batista and The Rock are names that you would expect to see on the cast lists for Hollywood blockbusters in the present day. Titus O'Neil on the other hand, not so much. No offense to the former Tag Team Champion, but he isn't at the top of our wishlist of wrestlers we want to see star in a Marvel movie. Judging by a recent post from O'Neil though, it looks like he might be.
O'Neil recently posted a photo of himself on Twitter with an interesting caption to go along with it. The WWE guy wrote that he currently weighs 284 lbs, but over the course of the next six weeks will be trying to lean down to 270 lbs. "I’m excited about the process to go down to a Leaner 41-year-old 270lb @Marvel Character," O'Neil tweeted, adding that it has nothing to do with WWE and he will see Batista soon.
Marvel is releasing more and more movies, so they likely need as many actors as they can get their hands on. If O'Neil really is going to be a character in one of their hit movies though, it will be extremely interesting to see what that role is. O'Neil is very good friends with Batista from their time sharing a locker room, perhaps Drax put in a good word and managed to get him a part.
