Mikaela Shiffrin knows she has the potential to clinch more in upcoming seasons. Along similar lines, the seasoned skier took to her X account on December 4th and added a long text on her handle. She pens,“A bruise on the leg is a hell of a long way from the heart.”-Herb Brooks, Miracle // So we are now thoroughly past the bone bruise situation & I’m so proud of how the past few weeks have gone & very ready for midseason racing. Time to put on the long boards! Train don’t stop”

Shiffrin slashes to third spot on Mont Tremblant 

Italy’s Federica Brignone secured her first World Cup triumph in two seasons with a win in the women’s giant slalom. Mikaela Shiffrin claimed third place. The venue was a twist.
