Trey Lance was severely injured in the first quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. The incident occurred on Sunday when Trey ran the ball up the middle of the field during the match and suffered a fractured on his right ankle. 

Postgame head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that starting quarterback Trey will miss the rest of the season as he is scheduled for surgery on his broken ankle and will take time to recover.
