Married At First Sightseason 16 premiered in January 2023 with five new couples from Nashville ready to take on arranged marriages, with more twists and turns than ever. Throughout the eight-week social experiment, the cast of MAFS season 16 had their blind marriages put to the test with the help of returning experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Pia Holec, and DeVon Franklin. While MAFS's track record isn't the best, with only a handful of relationships continuing through 2023, the series has remained a big hit among longtime viewers.

MAFS season 16 included a series of firsts. In addition to 23 episodes instead of the usual 18 to 19, MAFS season 16 also featured one married man's shocking attempt to grow closer to another cast member's wife. Although cast members are staying relatively quiet on social media in anticipation of the reunion episodes, there's still plenty of information to glean about the fallout of MAFS season 16.

The MAFS season 16 finale left viewers in suspense as each cast member forged their new lives with or without each other. Christopher Thielk and Nicole Lilienthal are exploring their new life together as a married couple while the rest of the cast members pick up the pieces of their onscreen heartbreak. Allegedly, Airiss Williams hasn't begun dating yet, but Jasmine Secrest reconnected with an old college friend. Meanwhile, Clint Webb went on a terrible date but allegedly kissed Domynique Kloss, while Mackinley Gilbert and Gina Micheletti might be dating. There's a lot of speculation to clear up in the reunion episode.

MAFS Season 16's Cast

Jasmine, 31, was ready to start a family and settle down but hadn't had much luck regarding long-term relationships. Airris, 39, shared a similar mindset and hoped to have children with the perfect partner after landing a job as a software engineer instructor in early 2022. Unfortunately, this pair got divorced on Decision Day. Airris has not started dating, but Jasmine has reconnected with a man from college. Hopefully, there will be more information on their love lives at the reunion. However, this couple is unlikely to bring the drama as they're allegedly still on good terms.

Nicole, 32, left her tight-knit family in New York City just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit to relocate to Tennessee. Like his new wife, Christopher, 36, also moved to Nashville from Chicago around the same time and struggled to make connections. They're the only pair to stay married after Decision Day. According to the finale, the two are still living in marital bliss, staying active, and getting to know each other. Nicole and Christopher have been quiet on social media, so any updates must wait until after the reunion.

Gina, 36, owns a successful hair salon in Nashville but has remained perpetually single since a traumatic breakup she went through four years ago. While Gina is wholly dedicated to her career, Clint, 40, has always been a lifelong learner, with plenty of things he's passionate about. Unsurprisingly, this pair split on Decision Day.

In the finale, Clint and Domynique met up and discussed the strangeness of their exes going on a date, but Gina and Mackinley don't seem like they'd be a great match either. Allegedly, he was in the process of moving to Michigan, and his personality seemed too scattered for an organized Gina. Clint is also dating, but there are no signs of seriousness. It would be interesting to see this couple, as well as Dominyque and Mackinley, hash it out at the reunion.

As the youngest cast member of MAFS season 16, Domynique, 25, believed she was ready for marriage despite not having much dating experience. On the other hand, Mack, 33, was more closed off after his last relationship left him reluctant to bond with someone again. This couple split just 12 days after their wedding. Shockingly, Domynique announced her decision in front of Pastor Cal. There was speculation that Domynique and Clint were together, but she revealed to him that she's interested in MAFS season 13 alum Gil Cuero.

Kirsten, 32, knows what she wants in life, especially in relationships. While Kirsten's strong personality and confidence helped her meet many potential suitors, she hasn't found someone who meets her high standards. Shaquille, 31, is just as driven as Kirsten and, after years of therapy, hoped he could join the short list of successful MAFS marriages. Shaquille rejected Kirsten on Decision Day, and it was revealed in the finale he had recently lost his grandmother. While the couple hasn't been in extensive communication, Kirsten feels she still needs closure from Shaq. Hopefully, she can find that in the MAFSreunion episodes.

Will There Be Another Season Of MAFS?

MAFS has been renewed for season 17. While the cast hasn't been announced yet, casting was happening as of May 2023 in the Chicago area. The cast will likely be announced after MAFS season 16 has finished aired, and filming has wrapped. It's expected to drop in late 2023 or early 2024.
