Wrestlers We Can't Believe Have A Higher Rating Than Roman Reigns, According To Cagematch.net
Matthew Perez Roman Reigns is in the prime of his wrestling career, which has been filled with mostly success and accomplishments. Reigns has had an amazing journey, being part of one of the most popular stables of this generation, and subsequently becoming the face of WWE. Roman Reigns has been an extraordinary wrestler, a natural main eventer.

However, despite carrying the company for a long time, Roman Reigns was not always booked in the best way, which led him to be hated by many fans. And as you know, haters are always going to hate, which is why Roman Reigns' rating on Cagematch.net is only 6.87. It's absurd to see considering some of the wrestlers who have a higher rating than Roman Reigns
10 Carlito (6.97)
Yes, you read that right, Carlito has a slightly higher rating than Roman Reigns. The Puerto Rican wrestler has spent most of his career with WWE and World Wrestling Council, where he has been Universal Heavyweight Champion 17 times.
Nothing against Carlito, but you have to admit that in WWE he was never more than a mid-card worker, with ordinary in-ring skills. So, it makes no sense for Carlito to have a higher rating, as in no aspect of the game has he been superior to The Tribal Chief.
9 Shane Douglas (7.16)
Shane Douglas was a pretty good wrestler, but nowhere near as good as Roman Reigns. Douglas' best moment was in ECW, where he was a four-time World Heavyweight Champion and established himself as a top superstar.
However, in WCW and WWE, Douglas was never able to stand out, as he was always several rungs below the high-caliber wrestlers of the time. Overall, Shane Douglas was a good talker, but his in-ring work was no big deal. In fact, Douglas never delivered a truly memorable match.
8 Shelton Benjamin (7.63)
It is perfectly understandable to see that Shelton Benjamin has a good rating. He has had a good career, in which he has had an undeniable commitment to WWE, proving that he loves the company and sports entertainment. But besides that, there is no valid argument to say that Shelton Benjamin is better than Roman Reigns.

Benjamin certainly stole the show with his stunts in some matches during the 2000s, but Roman Reigns has been hogging the spotlight since his debut.
7 Cedric Alexander (8.00)
A few years ago, Shelton Benjamin's partner, Cedric Alexander, looked like he could become one of the best wrestlers in WWE. However, he failed to exploit his potential.
Alexander is very talented in the ring, but he was unable to develop a good character and was stuck in the mid-card. Overall, Cedric is a good wrestler, but too boring for the main event. Cedric Alexander should not have a higher rating than Roman Reigns.
6 Ted DiBiase Jr. (6.90)
Ted DiBiase Jr. is one of those wrestlers who could not carry on his father's legacy. Perhaps too much was expected of him because of his lineage, but the truth is, he was a mediocre worker.

To make matters worse, Cody Rhodes completely overshadowed Ted DiBiase Jr. since they formed a tag team, as Rhodes did manage to develop and today is an exceptional wrestler. DiBiase had a terrible career, and that's probably why WWE prefers second generation wrestlers to wrestle under different names.
5 Shane McMahon (7.57)
Shane McMahon has put his body on the line and his life at risk with multiple insane spots, but is he really better than Roman Reigns?
The boss’ son, who comes to the company from time to time to wrestle a couple of matches, sometimes even winning and burying the talent, can’t be better than Reigns, from a general perspective.
Also, in terms of wrestling skills, Shane McMahon is pretty limited and simply can't compare to The Tribal Chief, one of the best storytellers out there.
4 Paul Burchill (7.50)
You probably already forgot Paul Burchill, who once had a Jack Sparrow-style pirate gimmick. He worked for WWE between 2005 and 2010, mostly as a jobber.
Certainly, he was an above average wrestler. His technique was pretty good, but he never got a big push. Still, there is no logical way for his rating to be higher than Roman Reigns' on Cagematch.net. This proves that their ratings don't always make sense.
3 Jake Hager (6.92)
Jake Hager (formerly known as Jack Swagger) has the look of a champion, and he has intensity in the ring, but beyond that, he's a basic worker, with limited arsenal of moves and zero charisma to entertain the fans.
The best moment of his career was when he won the World Heavyweight Championship, but many fans have even forgotten about that. AEW was a restart for him, but unfortunately, he hasn't found that spark to reignite his career. So, how does Jake Hager have a higher rating than Roman Reigns?
2 Shane Helms (7.44)
Shane "The Hurricane" Helms was a great cruiserweight wrestler. He frequently performed innovative and great spots, and overall, his matches were entertaining. He was one of the funniest wrestlers in WWE history, so his 7.44 rating actually makes sense.
Nevertheless, in the WWE history books, on the page of greatness, Roman Reigns' name undoubtedly appears, unlike Shane Helms' name. So, it is hard to believe that Shane Helms has a higher rating than Roman Reigns.
1 Apollo Crews (7.23)
Apollo Crews is a competent worker, who can deliver good matches when given the opportunity, but he has always been a midcarder, and has never shown that he has the talent to be more than that.
In fact, he recently had a very lackluster Intercontinental Championship reign, as well as his 2020 United States Championship reign, which was much of the same. In that regard, it makes no sense at all that Apollo Crews has a higher rating than Roman Reigns on the Cagematch.net system.
