WWE Adds Stipulation To Owens vs. Ezekiel Family Raw Match
David Mccullough Outside of the return of John Cena, WWE has a big match set for tonight's Monday Night Raw. Kevin Owens has challenged Ezekiel -- or any member of his family -- to a match and WWE has announced that an added stipulation will be the anti of that contest. Instead of it simply being a singles match where the competitors will be determined during the show, the winner will now get to move on to be a part of the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
WWE is promoting the bout heading into the three-hour show, saying, "TONIGHT: @FightOwensFight will get his chance to qualify for the Men's #MITBLadder Match! His opponent could be either Ezekiel, Elias or Elrod (the younger brother of @IAmNotEliasWWE)." For fans who missed it last week, Owens was attacked by Elias in the ring and in a bit of editing fun, also conducted a backstage promo with Ezekiel seconds later. He challenged any one of the brothers, and made up a younger brother Elrod. Ezekiel immediately accepted.
It is not likely Owens faces either of the other brothers. Elias hinted in a backstage exclusive interview that he won't be sticking around and Elrod is not a character WWE fans are familiar with yet, potentially not even being a thought until Owens made up his name last week. Ezekiel is likely to be the one competing in the match and will probably win, moving on to compete at Money in the Bank. He talked at great length with his brother Elias about how important it would be to compete for a shot at becoming a world champion.

WWE Really Playing Up The Ezekiel Fun
Ezekiel is no longer just an odd character WWE threw on television after WrestleMania in the hopes that something would stick. He's now a major part of the show and his schtick with multiple family members has become an entertaining part of Raw each week. That he could go on and win the Money in the Bank briefcase really shows how invested WWE is in making this whole idea work.
