WWE Files Trademark For The Usos' Brother Ahead Of NXT Debut

The Usos' little brother is getting set to make his debut on WWE TV, but he won't be joining up with The Bloodline just yet.
It's probably fair to say WWE isn't putting out the best product in its history right now. However, there are elements of its shows that seem to be getting over with the majority of fans. The ongoing Bloodline angle, for example. Roman Reigns finally turned heel in 2020 and so far, it has been about as good as everyone who had been clamoring for it could have hoped it would be.
The Usos' Baby Brother
Reigns has picked up a couple of recruits on his 12-month journey in the form of his cousins, The Usos. While not confirmed by WWE, it seems likely that The Bloodline will eventually get some new recruits. Jimmy Uso's wife Naomi could be the next one to join the group now she has been drafted to SmackDown, and we may even see another Uso added into the mix in the future.

WWE signed Joseph Fatu, the younger brother of Jimmy and Jey and son of Rikishi, earlier this year. It was unclear until now what exactly WWE had planned for Fatu, but the plan for the potential future Bloodline member has become a lot clearer this week. WWE filed for the ring name Solo Sikoa (H/T WrestlingNews.co) which is what Fatu will go by when he wrestles in NXT.
Introducing Solo Sikoa
A vignette for Sikoa aired on NXT on Tuesday night, teasing that the Samoan wrestler will be debuting soon. That means no Bloodline involvement for the time being, and also no Uso name for Fatu, at least not in NXT. However, even those who don't know Sikoa is related to Jimmy and Jey will immediately see the likeness when he debuts on NXT in the coming weeks.
Sikoa will be the next in a number of NXT stars to get TV time following the revamp on the brand. What's interesting is the decision not to have him sport the Uso name. Perhaps WWE doesn't want fans immediately making the connection while the brothers are on different brands. It also opted to ditch the Steiner name when debuting Bron Breakker a few weeks ago. Breakker is the son of Rick Steiner.
