The WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view in Tacoma, Washington is only six days away now, but the company is having a major problem in ticket sales.

Take a quick glance through StubHub or Ticketmaster, and you'll see a great deal of available seats. And with only six days to go, WWE is facing another attendance dilemma for one of their pay-per-view events.

WWE has gotten incredibly desperate trying to sell tickets, to the point where they're offering excellent deals to fans in an attempt to get more tickets sold for Stomping Grounds.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Ringside News), WWE is now offering two-for-one tickets, and they're starting at $20. Meltzer said it's "unheard of" for the company to offer tickets that cheap for a pay-per-view, and on top of that, they're "blocking off" places inside the Tacoma Dome - which seats up to 23,000.

Not only have WWE ratings gone down significantly over the last couple of months, but attendance for many shows (namely SmackDown Live) have drawn in bad attendance figures. Last week, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that attendance for the Super ShowDown event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia was only around 21,000.  The venue - King Abdullah Sports City - sits over 62,000.

So far, there are five confirmed matches for the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view, plus Samoa Joe (United States Champion) and Tony Nese (Cruiserweight Champion) are waiting to find out who their opponents will be for Sunday. That would mean a minimum of seven matches for the event in Tacoma.

Bayley will defend her SmackDown Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss, while Becky Lynch will try to retain her Raw Women's title against Lacey Evans. For other title matches, Seth Rollins will defend his Universal Championship against Baron Corbin - with a special guest referee to be announced. Kofi Kingston will put his WWE Championship on the line against Dolph Ziggler in a steel cage match. And finally, Roman Reigns will face Drew McIntyre in a singles bout.

What This Means

It's not uncommon for WWE to fall short of selling out a pay-per-view event, but the fact they have to offer two-for-one deals is obviously a sign of trouble. The card for the event is fairly strong, with almost every main event star set to compete. But perhaps the two-for-one promotion will lead to massive ticket sales between now and Sunday's event.
